Yes, the Dvarw MTL FL is decent for a restricted DL with the 2×2mm (2.83mm) insert installed. I have an authentic along with that insert installed and can pull a decent RDL. Also have it paired with an Aspire Mixx. They make for a nice setup.
View attachment 902999

I don't have the Haku Riviera so I don't know what it's AF is like for comparison. But I do have a Haku Venna and get a decent RDL.

This MTL FL comes with all the inserts and has a solid review from DJ at FT. Several of us here trust his reviews.
$21.31 Dvarw MTL FL Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 2/3.5/5ml(22*19mm (OD*ID)) / w/ 10*air inserts / stainless steel + glass / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping

IIRC there are a few folks here who have ordered that one. I don't know for certain if anyone here received theirs yet.

If you are looking for more AF then look at a Dvarw DL FL. The default AF is 2×2.5mm (3.54mm).
$23.50 SXK Dvarw DL FL Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 6ml (24*21mm (OD*ID)) / 316 stainless steel + glass / 24mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping

FT lists optional AF inserts for the DL FL at 2x2mm (2.83mm) and 2x3mm (4.24mm) AF.
Decisions, decisions... :)

My preferred build is 2.5mm ID txp 26. Watching Phil B's review of the mtl fl looked like a 2.5mm ID single 26 was relatively snug.

Probably the dl fl, and the sxk add on 2.5 and 3ml single hole insert pack is my safest bet, but I'd rather get the mtl fl to get the 5ml top fill cap accessory [emoji16]

Has anyone used the mtl fl with something similar to a twisted 26 AWG 2.5 ID coil?

Okay @ShowMeTwice , @charlie1465 , @bigbob2322 @AngeNZ and anyone else who commented.

Yesterday's "good morning" pic was taken on my way to Charlottesville, (pre-surgery appointments yesterday)

So as to clear up any confusion, this is my yard, my view:

^^^ View from the covered front porch, at the very bottom of the photo, that's the roof of my son's car, parked in front of the house (yes, we have to enable 4-wheel drive to climb the driveway to park) .. the bridge (which you may or may not see well on the left) going over the creek is part of our driveway, and the 2 buildings is the church house and their lunchroom, which used to be a schoolhouse back in the day...

The churches parking lot is our extended parking during get togethers, just has to be clear of cars come Sunday morning... lol

So, that's my house, and my view. We have neighbors, but we also have trees and mountainside. :)

My surgery is hard scheduled for Sept. 8th, no more potential eraser on that.

Good morning!
Looks gorgeous....a real haven of peace nestled in the trees. They must give you a lot of protection from the prevailing winds whichever direction they come.....looks a very nice find

Good morning!

Mornin' OP. I am envious of your quiet, simple mountain life. The mountains are beautiful, quiet, serene....things we each try to find in our daily lives, but seem to be more and more elusive today. As busy as my life has become with the real estate and property management, we don't get to visit the mountains nearly as often as we used to. I miss it greatly. Sitting on the deck of the cabin in the morning with nothing to break the silence except for the birds and the mountain stream nearby. My own little bit of heaven. We used to go 5 or 6 times a year, but it's been over a year since our last visit.:( Now with my elderly parents moving in, it will probably be a long while before we get out there again, but I am anxious for them to be here. Oh well, at least I have lots of pictures and videos of our trips to enjoy.

As always, you are in my prayers. I so hope that this procedure you have coming up gives you the relief and normality that you deserve lady. We are all praying for you, and hoping for the best possible outcome.

Gold and silver?
I know I've been inconsistent here (who me?) but I'm firmly in the I Love The Look camp now.

It doesn’t bother me the way I thought it would. IRL the gold isn’t brassy, so it doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb. The interior of the black one’s battery cap being silver bothers me more. Seriously considering painting it with some model paint

Not yet. As long as it’s under a 4, it’s just lots of rain and wind. Our house is a whopping 11 feet above sea level (that’s HUGE by NOLA standards), and we’ll have power no matter what (solar + battery bank, three way gas generator to back that up), larder is full... so, not much to panic about. It’s going to be a huge nuisance for a few days at worst if everything stays relatively static. And we won’t really know where it’s going until it almost gets here lol.

The photo is from a fairly secluded, peopleless, park Carli and I were at earlier this morning. We ran around and played like goofy kids for a couple hours. Not a single care in the world. Great fun. :)

So I've been wanting a rdta for the stash and saw Todd's review of this one and said "what the hell...why not". Ordered that, some dts, and the spare glass for the dvarw fl dl I forgot to order with the tank. Went with DHL again.

Afternoon everyone! Sunny day morning turned into a stormy afternoon in Boston. Hope everyone’s doing well!

I got some vape mail which was a huge surprise since I haven’t ordered anything in MONTHS! I don’t even recall ordering these. The Tauren RDTA isn’t toooo surprising since I have a stainless steel one on my silver Topside. But the Solomon Kees- I have no recollection of even being interested lol!

They both came from different vendors but must’ve been on a slow boat from somewhere.

I’m loving the Tauren RDTA. I thought it might be too restrictive based on the size of the 2 air flow holes but it’s actually quite airy and a perfect vape for me.

And thank you to all of those who suggested using an RDTA on a squonker. It’s a great setup!

I’ll have to read reviews and building tips on the Kees since I don’t remember even being interested in it. I’m pretty sure I haven’t done any after midnight Vape gear shopping. Lol!

Hope you all get surprise Vape mail also to brighten up your day as well!!

And thanks everyone who shared their slices of Life. I loved them all.

That's my view heading east. Yes, I need to trim my bushes. ;)

After Carli and I left the park earlier we went to one of the oldest cemeteries in Milwaukee. It's huge and is about two city blocks from my home. We go there a few times a week to just "Be" for a couple hours. And no, I don't know anyone that is buried there!
3-A530-B7-E-CE80-4-A03-91-C3-948-B815-A3-AA6.jpg
After we get into the center of the place there is this massive hill leading up to a really old chapel where we hang out. It's a few hundred foot climb to the top. And fairly steep.
1-B2-FB980-06-DB-4-F3-B-B239-87-DA100-EB203.jpg
Once we climb all those stairs we're there!!! I'm pooped and Carli is rarin' to go play. So we play and then flop!
4-B9-E1-F4-B-2911-433-B-B509-C3927250-F9-B4.jpg
That's the view sitting on the front steps of the chapel looking down and to the north. There are a lot of folks from the 1800's buried here. All around the base of the hill are these super old crypts that lead into the the hill itself. Very awesome. Some are still open. They are pretty eerie on the inside, yes! My hairs never fail to stand up.

I know a few folks here who love Angels. One of you even shared a very special Angel story with me that I will never ever in my life forget (you know who you are ;)). This one is totally awesome and a favorite of mine.

So we enjoy walking in cemeteries. I'm weird. Usually there are no people to speak of and they are very peaceful and quiet. Great places to just relax, play some frisbee and totally chill.

    Morning shinies ;)

Is the dvarw mtl fl good for restricted DL? Any particular clone that people have liked?

(Current favorite right now is the Haku riviera on squonkers. I'm looking for something to use with an Aspire Mixx.)

I've got the Riviera, airflow-wise I'd put it as similar to a 2.5 - 3mm single airflow hole. If you want the 24mm deck and a top-fill kit, what about the older DL version? @Pigs got a fused clapton installed in his (I think). It's got 3mm, 3.5mm, 4mm, and 4.5mm airflow inserts.
$11.46 Dvarw DL V3 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 6ml / 316 stainless steel / 24mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping

    or with the 3.5ml tank
$16.68 Dvarw DL V3 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 3.5/6ml / 316 stainless steel / 24mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping

    Top-fill kit:
$6.56 Replacement Tank Kit for Dvarw DL V3 RTA Atomizer - 6ml at FastTech - Free Shipping

Ange I forgot to mention, you MUST keep your wick within the body of the coil area. Opening/closing of the juice flow control is achieved by the turning the drip tip, which (by pressure against the inner chimney) turns the slot for the juice opening, which means you also have to remove the drip tip to refill. ;)

Perfect - that is how the 2k18 doggy RTA top-fill/JFC works. And you can leave off the Never Forget/FFS top cap as well :D

Well then, lets get together and go hang around some old cemeteries.

I just recalled that video you posted with the fox and dog. There are fox in all the cemeteries around here. We see them here and there. The one we were at earlier has several. Last time we were near one Carli let loose a deep bear like growl which momentarily stunned, and froze, the fox before it scampered away. Fox are normally shy critters.
