I use both rayon and cotton equally. Both work great in the Dvarw and every other rba I have.

The only thing I would add is you use ~1/3 more overall rayon versus cotton. Something tells me you already knew that bit though.

With the Dvarw a 2.5mm, or a 2mm, ID coil you won't need to trim anything from the Tidi rayon balls. With cotton and a 2.5mm you may need to trim some from the tails of the wick depending on how thick or condensed your brand of cotton is.

I know, but I have this irrational fear that my rayon wick will collapse/shrink when wet.

I use Mavaton's and Carolina Blend cottons (by cottonman) and those are much more dense versus other cottons. IMO they wick better, perform better and outlast every other cotton I've tried.

I have Carolina, never used Mavaton's. Thanks for the tip.

Good late morning shinies

Had bad reaction to my first gamma globulin injection so haven't been well. I'm hoping they are going to take me off it.

They went ahead and let me go home, so I'm happily at home right now...

I'm running a fever though, left the hospital with it low grade but above 100, but by the time we got home last night it was pretty high, complete with chills etc., far higher than it was when I left the hospital.

It's down some this morning, but I'll likely have to talk to neurosurgery to see if there's anything they want to do, or if they just want to observe it for a couple days and see if it resolves on its own...

Which it may, the stress of the long car ride may have been the main culprit...

I am thrilled though... the house is all set up handicapped so I can use the restroom and such without Genes help, or with only minimal help, so that's nice..

Should be good for healing and recuperating..

I've got my zero nic ejuice, so I'm happily vaping away! Haha... I even got my new mods and such while I was away, so today is going to be like Christmas after hubby wakes up and gives me all the packages!

I just ordered 4oz Mavaton's Select from CottonMan direct. Butch is a trip and a great person to boot. Fun to talk to on the phone. There are 2 kinds of Mavaton's.

I still haven’t tried out my new LV Centaurus DNA 250 yet. I spent a couple of hours washing all my RBAS well the ones I have in the atty stand which holds 30 I think. I rewicked a few of them then got tuckered out- doesn’t take much-

I wanted to take a look at the RTAs I have that might look the best with the brushed black face plate. I have several different gun metal, SHINY black and black matte. I’m thinking matte blk wood look best but I don’t think I have any RTAs that color. I do have a few black matte RDAs though.

I guess I’ll just have to go to the dressing room and try different ones on it.

Any suggestions welcomed or if anyone knows of a blk matte RTA but DL and good airflow. Bottom or top airflow doesn’t matter to me. I use both. I’ll have to look through all my stored RTAs some still are unopened lol!

Zeus is matte. I like them, but that’s why I don’t use them much, most of my mods are too shiny and don’t match well.

I think I've tried most cottons that are out there, KGD, bacon, Labo, etc. and they all work. I really can't tell much difference between various brands, but maybe I'm not sophisticated enough.

I've been using his Mavaton's Select for years. If I could only pick one that would be it.

You know I don't go heavy with flavors with DIY. With that in mind I'm getting 10-15 days flavored and nearly 30 flavorless. His cottons last a lot longer in my experience than others. Like you I've tried most. Once I found his I was done trying any others.

I’m so sorry, buddy. You’re always in my thoughts, and I hope they get this under control for you.

Thanks Delores...I hope so too. It's been hell. Maybe my body will get used to it. I eat such a healthy diet I think that these kind of things hit me hard as my body is in a fine balance and it makes it more sensitive. I'll see what the doctor says.

It's worse. I used to smoke 20 cigs a day for years. Never felt so sick like I'm feeling now.
