Very nice. Much better look. So how did you build it? You're using claptons, correct?

Yes MTL clapton coil, comes out around 1.5 ohms once dry burned, and vape at 20 watts

Thanks, Nailz. Does it vape the same as the regular Ares 2? I understand that the changes were supposed to be purely cosmetic.

Yes vape is the same, just looks a lot better IMO, the black goes really well with the black kroma-r :)

He really needs to change his name to VapingEMT

As a dvarw newbie I found the Bludger wick the easiest.
My first attempt was an Exocet wick, which worked well, but that was beginners luck more than anything. I tried the BunnyEars next, but found it tricky to prime my wick while it was all in place in the chamber.

With the Bludger wick, you prime your wick thoroughly and then put on the chamber. After that, it's just a matter of positioning your wicks to cover the wicking holes.

With the Dvarw DL especially, the Exocet wick became quick and easy after a few attempts. And it works the best for how I vape.

I haven't tried the Bludger wick method myself, but I can see how it could work well. However, I was wondering, does it get kind of messy when you are priming the wick first and then putting the chamber on?

Nice. It looks good. I should be getting mine from the giveaway tomorrow or the next day. I'm not sure which color I am getting, but they both looked pretty nice. I do like the minimal look of the newer version better than the original Ares 2.

It doesn't get messy. You don't need that much juice on the wick in order to position it on the deck. I moisten the wick and move each tail nearest the coil leaving room to pop the chimney/chamber on. Then position the tails up against the juice flow holes.

I think I will try that method the next time I rewick my Dvarw.

Have you tried the Exocet method yet?
I tried it, but didn't have much success. It was the only time the Dvarw ever leaked. I will give it another go later. I need to rewick a couple of Dvarws in the next day or so. I'll do the Bludger on one and the Exocet on the other.

Popping in for a quick hello. Going to lie down a bit. Migraine coming on and really bad auras. Must be going to rain.
    Hi Delores

That's not nice. Migraines are horrible. My stepfather gets them and has done all his life. With the auras which are kind of like pixelation. He found a lie down and sleep used to get rid of them. I don't think he ever took any meds.

    Sending hugs

    Morning shinies ;)

When I did the mass Dvarw rewick yesterday, I wicked them all a bit tighter than normal. And they are vaping even smoother than they were. I know @charlie1465 has said the Dvarw likes a tight wick, and he is spot on. So I may start listening to my elders a bit more
Awh shucks  they do need a tight wick but that applies to most situations if you want to stop any crackling and popping. Glad you found that it worked for you :)
