I think they were @ $6 a pack for malboros back then. When I started in 1981, they were.50 cents a pack
When I started they were under $2 a pack for Reds. I was in S.F in Dec. Generics at the liquor store were $12.50. Umm nope.I had brought along my Pico fortunately.
Price of cigarettes when you started smoking shows age i think.. lol..
Name brand cigarettes were .75 cents a pack when I started smoking and the first time I swore I was going to stop smoking due to cost was when they hit 15.00 a carton. .. haha

I took an hour and reorganized the vape closet. I have two shoeboxes of packages of coils, one shoebox of tanks and cords. One drawe of replacement glass, orings etc. Two small drawers of “backup, fda emergency” mods... plus the cabinet with stuff I’m using now. After all the adult children have walked off with, I thought there’d be SOME. Just , wow
I started smoking in '69 or '70. 50 cents a pack out of a vending machine. Think I paid 6.80 for my last pack.
That's one of my reasons for stopping. My brand of choice was B&H menthol lights which were considered "High end"... nothing else satisfied... until I started vaping. Never looked back.
I've always bought whatever was cheapest. Back when all the 120's came out, they ran specials. So, I smoked Saratoga and More. After that, I went to generics.
I swore I would quit (along with everyone else) when the generics got to over $1 per pack.
When my mother used to send me into the grocery store to buy her a pack of Winston, they were 35 cents per pack. That was probably the late 60's or early 70's.
I smoked for 35 years and that was the price in the last couple of years which included state tax which kept climbing.
That helped in my decision to start vaping and stick with it. I just couldn't afford to go back.
My husband was so happy and really doesn't mind me treating myself to new shiny stuff within "reason".
My favorite juice, only have about 20ml in the car, I think this will be the first juice ever that I finish the bottle...

Not yet, I am very short on funds, was a very bad month for me so I have to delay DIY. I still have about 85 ml of naked, and about 200ml of various other premium flavors at 3%, 480ml 6% that I don’t vape, and 50ml of 50mg salts! LOL
If times get too rough you can cut your over strength juice with VG from Walmart ($4 or so for like 4 oz). Lose a little flavor too but not as much as you think.
So anyway guys, I'm off to bed.

really was a bad day for me. I tried taking out the trash, doing a few dishes and a load of laundry and cleaning out the cat box this morning and then I paid for it in spades.
Doctor wrote me another prescription for something stronger for pain, so I'm doing fine now.. and next time I'll wait for hubby to help.. lol.
It's just so hard to wait for him! Hahaha..
But I love you all, and see every one tomorrow!

That would be a good idea to salvage the 6% juices that are just sitting in my fridge!
