Very nice. Nailz, is this your first KFL19?

I know how you love your Prime's. Will be curious to hear your thoughts on the KFL19 after you've given her the goings over.

I wouldn't be able to pick one over the other. I love the JFC, top fill and AFC ring on the Prime. However I really like the smaller size of the KFL19. I'm used to, and don't mind, bottom fill from the OG KFL's, Russian's and Dvarw's.

Yes it is my 1st one, never bothered getting one, as liked my primes so much, but with things getting tougher to get, thought be wise to grab one, not set it up yet, probably be the weekend before I give it a clean and get up and running

Bigger? You got it, I've enlarged NZ's footprint in the world and pushed you slightly North. @AngeNZ will be upset with me because more north = warmer summers. Might be less windy though.

Perfect It's a pita adding pictures at FT as you need them hosted elsewhere. Since they are already here on ECF, I wrote up a post using all the code needed to post them. If you copy and paste the code below

chimney reducer is totally and deeply blocked with some type of glue or plastic weld

The main and most disturbing issue with this clone is the 510 pin.
When it is fully screwed in the pin doesn't protrude properly - so no good positive contact

I will do my best as usual but I have so many to review . I do like doing them tho.

Yup! Surgical Scissor 1, my finger 0

I'd finished cutting off the wick tails, and was only cleaning my scissors when dumbness ocurred. Wiped the blades down with a tissue, and my finger got in the way

So I wrapped up my finger, primed the Dvarw, filled its tank and finished the job.

It's a bloody deep cut (pun intended) but at least I still have my middle finger (for now )




No Dvarws were harmed during this experiment

Hey @AngeNZ, I'm shopping around for drip tips for my Dvarws on FT. I know you are a drip tip and Dvarw aficionado. What would be your recommendation for one that fits well in a Dvarw? I bought some a while back that don't fit great.

Noticed the juice in your Dvarw has a reddish tint to it.

Hey @AngeNZ, I'm shopping around for drip tips for my Dvarws on FT. I know you are a drip tip and Dvarw aficionado. What would be your recommendation for one that fits well in a Dvarw? I bought some a while back that don't fit great.

Most of mine all fit no problem. Is it too loose? if so, change the o-rings with another drip tip that is a tighter fit, or from a Dvarw MTL drip tip.

I have some that are too tight, like I have to jam it in there. I also purchased some that are too loose. I feel like Goldilocks. I just want some that are just right. Not a bad idea about switching the o-rings.

@Pigs I'm glad you posted about that version of the Arise RTA. I had it wish-listed - it's now unwish-listed. I'm sticking to Dvarw DLs

I've got the Ulton version coming ..... their clones are usually really good. You may put it back on your wish list when I report back.....when it gets here
