So you can squeeze more mah into the same cavity as a conventional Li ion?
    I wouldn't say so. I have multiple LiPo's.
In my 4 year old BDC stabwood is a 3S Turnigy 1500. Basically 3@18650 each with 1500 mAh.
Also a Turnigy 3S 1300 mAh, 3x1300 (3900mAh) that is the same size and shape as 2@18650 (swappable in my LV efusion Duo)
    A fullmax 3S 900mAH (2700 total) same size as a 21700
And finally a 4S 1000mAh (4000 total) capable of 400 watts, barely bigger than my Mirage

The main benefit would be much lower voltage sag when firing.

I did win something very nice though and that's the main thing;)
One beautiful stabwood mod will be built for me free of charge, my Mate Joe has already started the build:thumb:

Do you have a lot of flavors? If so, then I can see how that could be a bit of a pain.
£320's worth so yes it's going to take me some time. Got some 100ml and 30 ml but a lot of 10ml to.....3 bags of flavourart for a start. Id say I've got about 150....3 page invoice  I haven't counted them....I'll just take it steady....there are some repeats :D

Hey AngeNZ,sorry for the late reply.
Had a busy morning today, pharmacy trip to pick meds for my pops, bank, supermarket, vape shop, etc, etc.
Oh boy, sure need some time off, barely get any ''me'' time, but it is what it is.

I am digging the Thunderhead, looks very good and I've seen a couple good reviews about its performance and build quality.

The Druga i am not to sure of,the Gear RTA was a meh for me.
Actually got 2 because there was a mix up with the seller,he told me to keep the second one i got so i still have it unopened.
First one i gave up on,tried different coils and i don't know but i just don't get the same performance i get from my Hellvape Destiny, might just be me *shrug*

Thanks a bunch for taking the time to look, will let you guys know what i decide.
Don't know why but the blotto still is in my mind, anyone here used one of those attys?

Seems the reviews have been favorable but these day you never know if they are impartial or just singing its praises for a quick buck.

    Thanks again ANgeNZ,much appreciated :)
I'm enjoying the thc Artemis rdta. Single coil, dead easy to build, zero leaking, very good flavor that will get better with tweaking I believe. SS rods work very well keeping the wick saturated. Only niggling complaint would be occasionally it has a bit of a whistle; easily adjusted out though.

I can say I'm very happy that I took a chance and preordered 2 gunmetal before I had the silver in hand.

Thanks for that info @Wayneo . So assuming voltage sag isn't a problem with DNA boards, why would a LiPo battery be the choice for a mod maker over Li Ion?

Ok fellow Dvarw aficionados, I have a question. I am finally going to order one of the DL Dvarws and was wondering what coils you generally use with them. For my MTL Dvarws, I generally just use my simple round 28g Kanthal or Stainless. I also often use these $3.39 Authentic Superfine 316L Stainless Steel Wire - 32*2/38 AWG / 0.2mm*2/0.1mm dia. / 10pcs/pack at FastTech - Free Shipping.

However, since all of my previous RTAs have been of the MTL variety, I am a bit in the dark about what would be a good prebuilt coil to buy with them. Would the ones I posted above work well in the DL tank too, or should I get something else?

Depends on the wattage you want to vape at. I use the superfine Ni 80 at 5/6 wraps for 0.5 ish ohms at 16-20 watts which blows clouds just fine....just depends what you need.

Hope that helps. Most mods at 75 watts single battery are aimed at that sort of client.

Some of the (hear say) Information I've gathered.
    Cost more- large mAh
    Need charger
    Last longer
Would not have one for outside use.might drop when hanging out at the grand canyon:|

There's less voltage sag regardless of board type, with a quality LiPo, just like super high amp round cells. Less voltage sag allows one to vape the battery down lower before battery warnings (weak, then check battery). My setting is 3.1v for soft cell cutoff on all 4.

Like mine and Daniel's mods, they are LiPo because the only way inside that enclosure is to remove the 4 faceplate screws, remove battery, and plug into a LiPo charger.

On my efusion Duo's it's easier to swap/choose. One is setup with 2@18650, the other a LiPo. The atty build dictates which mod I'll use. The 2 battery one has ~6v output limit, the 3S one has a 9v output limit, dictated by the board.
My 4S Lipo has an 11v output limit, dictated by the board.

I'll take a couple pictures of the efusion's later.

I'm not really sure what wattage I would be going for. I generally keep it between 12-14 on my MTL Dvarws.

In this 1st pic is that 900mAh Lipo beside the 21700, then the 2@18650 beside the Turnigy. Once you put them in the mod they take up the same space

The 18650 sled wires or the LiPo wires connected tuck up inside the mod

It depends completely on your preffered wattage. The deck will handle those 32*2/38 coils no problem. I've used them in my DL at around 20-25 watts.

If you want to go higher, these 30*2/38 will be a better bet at anything from 20-35 watts
    $3.38 Authentic Ni80 Superfine Heating Wire - 10pcs/pack / 30*2/38 AWG / 0.25mm*2/0.1mm dia. / 0.7ohm at FastTech - Free Shipping

And as 2.5mm id seems to work well in the 24mm Dvarw DL v3 deck, I'd just treat it exactly the same as your v2 MTL Dvarws.

PS: You will need another 6 Dvarw DLs to keep it company

I've got one coming too...posted yesterday so probably several weeks to wait.....
Thanks for the info. I'll compare with mine when it comes.

How're you doing? Seems a bit thin on the shiny thread at the moment....and where's Letitia gone?
It has been awfully quiet here!! I’ve been popping in, but it’s odd being able to catch up on posts in a blink. Maybe everyone is busy paying off un-shiny holiday bills. I’m still mulling over getting the Dicodes sbs. I know it’s what I really want, but mercy the $$$ gives me the shivers lol. I should probably let the Mixxes go, they’re just sitting now the initial rush of newness is over. Just waiting for someone to ask for them

Thanks for the info. I've never had Ni80 coils before. I think I will grab some when I order the DL.

And I'll probably just start with one DL Dvarw for now. My next FT order can include the rest of the 7.
