Last August I bought an iPhone and after 5 months I would never go back. It is very nice having a computer in the pocket
I don't do any social media (apart from ecf)- that's not why I like a smartphone.

I love having a high quality camera in my pocket.
Also use the maps feature often- extremely handy in a huge city like Sydney - traffic jams easily avoided.
Do my banking on my phone.
Listen to the radio on my phone.
Check weather on my phone.
Fact check a whole array of stuff incl Ohm's law calculations on my phone (Vapetool app).
Emails on my phone.

Also smartphones are so much better for sms. In my world most people start conversations with txt then move on to an agreed phone call if needed. I miss the old days of just talking on the phone but if I wanted to stay connected I realized I had to move with the times.

One thing I hate about smartphones is the "free app" concept. Obviously nothing is free, they are just accumulating huge amounts of data about us.
My way around that is that I download an app when I need it and immediately uninstall when I've finished using it. I also check all the fine print on permissions with any app before I install and if I see it needs access to my browser history or contacts in order to operate, I don't install it.

You don't need a smartphone. An email address will do....the bank has to know it though :)
I agree with you, but they have something else where they send you a code and a link and when you explore the link thats when they verify its you, (could be someone else as well) silly ,but that's what they do nowadays.(mostly)

That's nice, except for all that GREEN!

Nope, no green for me. You and @Cloud-FF7 can have all the green ones. I have one green Luna (it's a stunner) and one green mod is plenty for me. Ummm, unless VA sends me a green one as a gift. :D

Now that you got me looking  I prefer the...

Out of curiosity, what coil/wattage you using on the OFRF Gear atty?
I actually own 2 rainbow ones (mix up with the seller, got a second one and he told me to keep it) and i shelved the one i actually took out of the box.

Tried several coils but wasn't really impressed with its performance, was getting better flavor with my Hellvape Destiny RTA.

Got any advice for me buddy? Might give that atty another chance
Please don't use the bubble glass it looks like a burger with it installed.

I was a confirmed flip phone fan too, until I started using a smart phone. My husband’s friend gave him one, just after he got sick. That thing was a godsend. Alerts for his meds and appointments, email from doctors... it streamlined so much for us.

I’m old enough to remember when folks could get by without a checking account, and then over time you could not. And the same happened with credit cards, cable, the internet... and I was the last person to get grudgingly on board every time.
The wife and I got on fine without a checking account, until we didn't.

Pretty sure I was one of the very last people, besides @NolaMel's mom , to ditch my old Sony Trinitron boat anchor for a new smart TV. I've only had the new one for a year and a few months. I'm still blown away by how big and super colorful it is. And I am "that" guy who sits and watches the nature screensavers in awe.

I'm another anti-social media person. ECF is my exception on the social side of things.

But I do use Pinterest for craft work and more recently photography. I've stuck the photos all my fave setups on there:

Wait! Are those Miller Forge? They’re strong enough for Carli’s nails??

    Good eyes Mel!

Yes they are Millers Forge (743). They work very nicely on Carli's nails. I just did hers and Cat's earlier. Cat loves getting her nails done. Carli has always been a royal PIA for hers. Doing her used to be a two person job. Seeing as I am but one, I sit on her to get them done. Easy.

They’re cute, but NOT Meridith cute!! I told himself if I ever get to Australia with him, we have to make a side trip to NZ to see a certain fuzzy cow. Raised eyebrow, “Um, ok???” was all the response I got :lol::lol:

The ones I used on the labs aren’t cutting it (pun intended). I wasn’t sure the medium would be good, but I’ll go with them then. Currently Doodlebug/Sam is a muzzle and two trazadone event :(. I doubt I’ll ever get him to the point of being able to dremel trim. And noooo way I could do it alone. Himself wrestle holds and gives treats while I clip.
