Ok you shiny-obsessed people, I have a question for you. If you were buying an rta and the two options were black or gunmetal, which would you pick?
Gunmetal probably but the black's nice and clean looking.... difficult choice I know. buy both :D

They insist on carrying on this charade. They must think I’m a first time tracker . I am neither fooled or amused.
At least it’s left Germany.

Don't worry it'll miss any checks.... they'll probably allow for a bit of cross over but won't even notice it :)

Both... duh
If I couldnt, probably black. But solely because most of my mods are black. I’m ocd about matchy matchy... gunmetal comes in too many variations

That’s what I was going to say. I always have a shiny or matte black mod, but there are too many shades of gunmetal.

I have a question for all those spaced coilers out there.
Do you find it gunks up less with sweet and creams. I'm guessing it does??
Performance??

Thanks all
I personally think it gunks up coils less with a spaced coil. I would use them more often, but I have a hard time making a spaced coil that doesn't look deformed.

@Daniel Forsyth post made me go look at that VA Sade I always wanted. Unfortunately U.K. Stab wood does not have a payment method set up atm. So I went to VA and neither do they. They suggest a bank transfer? I’m not comfortable with that.

I kind of wanted one last pretty before the mail ban. Rats.

I agree, they do seem to do better.
On the spaced coil spacing front...
What works for me is i make a tightly wrapped contact coil. Then pull them apart on the rod, to like 1-2mm between wraps. At that point you push it back together and pull the legs tight again. Most of the time i end up with a nicely spaced coil.
I typically use multi strand ss, but it worked with my flat wire too.
Works for me, but ymmv.

Thanks....I've seen it done and tried it once or twice but never loaded one into an atty. I haven't had problems making one just need to know whether it's worth my while :)

When you say better how much more time are we talking?
I've made them in exactly the same way....works with a premade coil too.

Use a screw to wrap the coil on.

I prefer contact coils mainly cause of the smallish decks I vape these days and the resistance I like. Dvarw DL an example.

I know some people say they get better flavour from spaced coils but I haven't found that. Tried them a few times when I was into bigger, lower Ohm builds. They are better for spitback if that's ever an issue though.

Gunk up factor sounds like a good reason to try spaced with sweet juices.

Yup....I'm thinking about the Dvarw's DL.....I'm not particularly into sweet but I do like my creams and I do agree that a contact coil is preferable but I hate it when after about four days it starts to taste funky!!!

Did you get my WhatsApp message..... different ha?

You've got it bad Mel. Shinyvapemailitis
I do, indeed. It made it to Louisville, Ky late last night. It is OUT for DELIVERY :banana::banana:
this morning. I’m floored.
What confounds me is Squape got it here in 3 days for $10. I pay 3-4 times that and it’ll take 4-5 days for UPS to get a package a couple states over.

Nordic efficiency I guess lol. It really boggles my mind. I mailed my kiddos a galette des rois (not that heavy, box not large) and it cost $27 and change. It got there 5 days later. I can drive there in 11 hours.
Needless to say, I will be here waiting anxiously for it to arrive. Unfortunately UPS’s warehouse is close to me, so probably end of the day.
