Happy belated B-Day @ShowMeTwice

Sorry i haven't been around much,to be honest i am going thru a mild episode of depression these days.
The sheer monotony and pressure i guess it just finally got to me,think this is something that happens sooner or later to care givers of a family member, but no worries i am ok,just need to get over it.

Best concert ever for me was in 94' when i was living in White Rock (British Colombia).
Pink Floyd concert,oh my god best concert ever!!

Actually made enough money selling tickets so i could buy myself a better car (to replace my crappy 350 dollar Chevy Nova).

Funny story,i actually was driving to pick up some stuff for the Spanish restaurant we had and i heard on the radio that they were giving away the bracelets for the concert in a lottery place that was like 5 minutes away from where i was.
Bracelets gave you priority to get the tickets for the concert, was lucky enough to get there first and waited at the door of the Mall until the guy opened the door, ran in and got there first so my bracelet was like 0000001.
First in the whole province to be able to get the tickets :rickroll::rickroll:

Bought the max, gave some to my friends and sold the rest, dang that sure brings back memories of an easier and happier time...

Oh well,c'est la vie.

P.S. Spanish vaping website saw some of my reviews here and they sending me a Kit Swag PX80 by vaporesso so i can make a review about said apparatus, they want it in spanish AND english but hey it will keep me busy.

P.S.2: If i ever have a time machine first place i would go would be to Wembley in 1985 to see Queen live, only regret in life is that i never saw Queen live :(

Yes Charlie!! Wish I'd met you sooner mate and IRL

I saw Talking Heads in 1984 with Eurythmics, Simple Minds, The Pretenders, Mental As Anything, Def Leopard and INXs at the same gig. Other famous Aussie bands that you guys may not know.

Narara Music Festival 1984 - Australian Music History

It was a Festival called Narara '84 , Mini 80s version of Woodstock. Sleeping in tents , open selling of herbal enjoyments and free love. Plus lots of beer. No cops.

Talking Heads were incredible. It was the Heads tour when David Byrne came out on stage first in the wide shouldered suit - just him and a giant ghetto blaster. The rest of the band were wheeled in on mini risers as the first song unfolded. Fricken mind blowing. o_O
Cripes....you were lucky to see them on the Stop Making Sense tour....best live gig ever IMO.

Loved all my tent festivals....such a great atmosphere.....

I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling great ...I think we're all feeling a bit like that with the current issues etc. With the extra you have to deal with its completely understandable

A friend used to say to me " exentuate the positive, eliminate the negative". Good mantra IMO.

Hope you feel better soon mate :)

I placed a small order last week with HealthCabin, a couple of tanks and a handful of boxes of coils. The parcel is less than a pound. Expecting to receive the order this week I instead got the following message this evening from FedEx:

fedex.com/t/(tracking number)/en_US has been clearance delayed. Reason: Goods are subject to review by Food/Drug Agency prior to clearance.. Action: No action required at this time.. Reply HELP for help. STOP to cancel.

Has anyone else gotten this kind of message? If so, did you receive your order or did it get returned or just disappear?

First hand experience only. Others need not reply.

yep it was the Stop Making Sense tour. (@DeloresRose /psycho Killer!)
Burning Down The House was amazing!
Couldn't believe how good they were live. It was like being in a giant record if that makes sense.

I've been a huge Talking Heads fan since late teens.
The first ever CD (of any band) I bought was their 1983 album Speaking In Tongues. I already had Fear of Music and Remain In Light on vinyl and cassette but the new CD format was glamorous. Rushed out to buy it. Sat for many hours with my head wedged between the speakers trying to analyse how they got that sound.
Then Stop Making Sense came out and blew more of my brain cells.

The film of the concert is exactly how they were that night.

OK I was just digging around in my old tickets drawer ( I keep concert ticket and footy match stubs) and and found the Narara '84 passout ticket!!
Will post photo in a sec.

Sorry to bore you guys with this but it brings back incredible memories.
I even found phone numbers of people I met at the concert scrawled on the back of the ticket in their own different handwritings. Somehow so much more interesting and personal than a txt'd contact to a cellphone.

I would like to accompany you on that trip through time. I was too young to listen to or go see Queen back in their heyday.

I am sorry to hear that you are dealing with depression at the moment. I do hope things start getting better soon.

Health cabin must not be disguising the contents with creative labeling like ft has been doing for the last year or two. Guessing FedEx will simply return to vendor.

I just took a look at the box I received from Health Cabin yesterday. It doesn't have anything much more than the mailing and return addresses on it. It has nothing describing the contents inside.
