Never saw that video before. Norman can play! I saw Zappa more times than I would care to say. The man was a true genius IMHO. Super intelligent. Fantastic musician who was on a level most could never understand. Taken way too soon.

Check out his concert recording called FZ:OZ. I'm certain it's up on YouTube. It was recorded at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney 1976-01-20. Listen to his guitar playing on the instrumental Black Napkins, he just kills it. That entire concert is excellent. I have everything ever put out by Zappa as well as the posthumous releases from the Family Trust.

Thanks for sharing. :)

ETA: There are 2 better versions of Black Napkins. One is on "Chicago '78" and the other is on "Philly '76". YouTube
Agreed....way to early. He used to chain smoke so much. Always one either in his mouth or tucked into the neck of his guitar...

Black napkins.....awesome and the great Moving to Montana guitar solo and most others....genius indeed. One of my favourite musician's.

pun intended? I have a pole saw due to come tomorrow, and about 50’ linear of brush/small trees to take down. Not all at once, mind. Should be good weather for it though.
Yes pun intended. Had the gardener's in to do the high stuff mostly but I have a long lopper for the mulberry tree etc... excellent tool.

Don't overdue it  I'm a typical man...can't stand working slowly and push through to get whatever I'm doing done....at least I didn't do it in my best trousers :D

Dan! Like most Vics right? Don't give up mate. A couple of building years always essential when a strong era comes to a close. At least you're not a Storm fan.;)

It was never going to be Storm for meo_O I've followed the NRL for many years but once the AFL turned into a bunch of teenage girls I gave the bombers the flick and now I'm a die hard Broncos Man;)

I was just wanting someone to explain the possible reasoning for this. does mail that goes from Las Vegas Nevada to Melbourne Florida ever go to an international shipping center in Jamaica New York for any reason other than they think that you live in Melbourne Australia and they're not paying attention to the zip code and they're about to send my package to another country?I mean I would imagine that they understand that the priority shipping rate that the business paid isn't nearly enough to get something to Australia lol or do packages that are domestic sometimes just go through international. As far as I can tell that is just an international hub not a place that domestic mail goes through but I could be completely wrong

    Good to see you AVA.
You could contact the carrier and ask but in my experience with what other US residents say on here a strange redirect isn't unusual and it just might have flown to NY to fly back down to Florida.

    I can't say for sure as i'm in France....good luck :)

Nice to see you as well. If it was a regular post office in New York I don't know why it is but stuff from Nevada on its way to Florida ends up in New York almost every time for me but never to an international hub lol. Thanks for your thoughts. I wish I had a normal post office that serviced my house It's some weird little place they don't even sell packages or stamps and when you call them they don't seem to usually even understand that they work at the post office lol maybe I'll just watch pretty sure the company will give me my money back if this ends up in Australia

I've had mail end up in the strangest places before. I've had land in Chicago then go to Ft Worth, just like it should, then leave Ft. Worth for Indiana for awhile, then go back to Ft. Worth before coming to me. I think your package just wanted to visit New York for a bit. I'd be surprised if it goes to Australia, but YNK.

Lol. Yeah I once had something from Miami go past Melbourne go past Orlando and head on out to California before it made its way back to me which was two and a half hours away from where it was originally shipped from. But I've never had one turn up at an international package handler lol you know there might be a couple different post offices in the same area that all come up as this international place because I think I remember once getting a package that was international and for some reason it was showing up like it was domestic and it hadn't been through customs or anything yet so I think I'm just going to watch I mean it's not like the clock's ticking or anything lol

Hey, it was mailed before the ban. They got to deliver it.

I do have some decent clothes but I never wear them because I always have some kind of dirty work to do. I always dress like ‘I’m here to do the lawn’.

in an effort not to look destitute I just bought 5 new hoodies. That’s one per season plus a good go-to-meetings hoodie.
I did not buy any in this year’s Pantone colors because style is never about following the crowd.

I’m not sure if it got scanned wrong or it actually went there, but nothing surprises me.

I’ve had three packages from various places go to a hub in Toledo that has been shuttered for about ten years.

I thought, uh oh. But they showed up here after a tour of the tri state area.

Tracking is so wonky I don’t believe any of it these days. So much never gets even one update. But so far it’s all arrived.
