I contacted the rescue and asked if they would be willing meet somewhere that Georgia could meet the dog. I even offered to fill out the app, pay the fee, and pay the Foster person a little something to bring her... no reply. I suppose that’s a no. So I messaged again and told them to please keep me in mind if they don’t find her a home.
I’m interested, but it’s won’t force another dog on Georgia, she gets a say in this. Any rescue that can’t understand that doesn’t know dogs all that well imho.

Maybe phone??? Or maybe she's gone already....I hope not because they're lovely dogs

I've decided it's still love everyone day
We are going to go on a trip today before we go into lockdown on Monday. Kind of a bummer not being able to use the new car after the weekend except for trips to the supermarket

Yep. Kevin "Caveman" Shirley. I met him when he first moved to Sydney from South Africa in the late 80s/early 90s. He was just another freelance engineer then. Plenty of records under his belt already from his homeland but he had to start fresh here. Didn't take him long to make a name as a good heavy rock engineer.
Then the big American rock bands took notice and his career went stratospheric.

I'm on the same page as The Captain. Your work is amazing!

Do you create some type of template and then program your sewing machine or is each one done by hand/eye? I've got no idea how that all works.

Designers make files that I load to my machine. The machine does all the stitching, I add the parts and stuff when indicated at the stops. It’s really remarkable to watch. I can do a little editing and I’m learning a tiny bit of digitizing, but mostly it buy files for now.

This was a big challenge and a lot of fun. I learned a lot of editing skills, like using the machine’s ‘Snap’ placement feature for the Angel, and multi line text, centering and shrinking text.

I made it on the big one(left and bottom) His name is Larry, the little one is his Brother Daryl (not pictured his other Brother Daryl)


Machine embroidery is the biggest rabbit hole ever. It makes vaping look like a mild distraction.

After chatting with the store folks they decided to cleverly label the package. Like other Euro packages I've rec'd recently it is labeled as coming from a private citizen and shipped out of their home.

AnyWho... UPS is delivering it today. Who said they won't ship vape gear?

I was confident there would be a way around "all the noize and nonsense".

My package arrived in Memphis after a couple days it did take 12 days to clear customs then was delivered to me. The package was clearly marked Cheeky VAPE lol. I’m beginning to wonder if saying there not gonna do it is good for public relations, but in the end money talks as it does with anything.

Cheeky Vape is a good vendor. I've ordered from them a couple times in the past. Packages came via Royal Mail and were handed off to USPS.

12 days sitting in Memphis isn't bad. Folks in a couple other threads have mentioned gear being held up in Memphis for weeks. One person ordered a mod on Feb 5th, it was shipped via DHL eCommerce, once in Memphis it sat there for weeks, today it's getting delivered via USPS.
