I don't really agree @chanelvaps . I can enjoy cooking on a portable butane cooker or a BBQ. My must-haves are razor sharp knives, a wood chopping board and running water.
really? I might be wrong then. I know I had a boyfriend that was a deer hunter and he used to drag me to deer camp (an old Army tent, huge, with several small tents inside it) it had a really wonky kitchen, a couple of burners (propane), and an ice chest and a small table. I whipped up some feasts in that little kitchen and had a decent time, but I also had serious time on my hands.
Maybe I mean, in order to be an efficient and varied cook, one needs a good kitchen. I know I am pretty happy to have tons of counter space, with cupboards under them, and the space to store more cooking utensils like Kitchen Aid mixers, food processors and griddles.

salt, freshly grinded black pepper and cummin...sometimes oregano but not much, just a tad so it doesn't overpower the rest of the flavors.
Secret of the tomato sauce is you need to keep it at really low heat and you need to move the sauce every 5 minutes,if you don't it will stick to the bottom and burn which will affect the whole flavor profile of the sauce.
I used to make my own sauce. I would buy Roma's from the produce mart, put them all out on a table on the back porch and let them sit in the sun for a couple of days. Crock Pot method and yes, on low, and sometimes with the lid off. My sauce had only garlic and fresh basil, both warmed in a skillet before adding to the sauce.

Morning all! Just a quick howdy, I’ll catch up when I can.
I have my eldest granddaughter - since Monday. She’s a good kid, helped me assemble the patio furniture. She as supposed to go home yesterday, but her dad (my son) was in a car accident. He says he’s fine, but his car is totaled.
Waiting to see what he needs to do. She seems to be having a good enough time here though. I’d keep her a while longer.

sourcemore asked me what I’d like to review next, but I need to dig through my stash and see if I already have some of the stuff I’d like to get. I thought I had a VV Pyro, but I don’t think it’s the V2.
I do hope your son is really fine. Sometimes one does not know until the day after

I still have shinypodmoditis:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

@NolaMel and those who use z-coils: What's the 0.5Ω and 0.48Ω coils like, compared to the 0.8Ω? I stuck a 0.8 in the kroma-z, and vaping it RDL at 18.5w is perfect.

I want another Kroma-z now, so I can have one set up with a 0.3Ω and the other with a 0.8Ω. And they are on special :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
Probably too late as I’m pages behind, buuuut…. Wasn’t a fan of either the .5 or .48. They seem to burn out way quicker than the .8 or 1.6. Flavor wasn’t as good either, but ymmv

Gotta be careful with my pops so for hygiene reasons i never used a wooden chopping board for meat specially pork and chicken
The jury is out on chopping boards. I use wood (bamboo) because some studies say it holds less salmonella bacteria than nylon or plastic chopping boards.

Scientists at the University of Wisconsin have found that 99.9% of bacteria placed on a wooden chopping board begin to die completely within minutes. ... A high-quality wooden surface will last you for a number of years, without seeing a decrease in its antibacterial abilities.

Some other studies say plastic is cleaner but I also like the environmental benefits of bamboo chopping boards. The down side is it's really hard and blunts knives quicker than plastic or softwood boards.

What you want is a nice end-grain maple board. I covet one of those. No place to store it properly, though.

    Oh, congrats, by the way.
