New Therions are a rumor. However it's a rumor I'm waiting on.

Unfortunately I think the regular ones will be released first. Keep in mind it was November..ish when the BF was released. Kinda early still for another one. lost vape isn't smok.

I'm thinking late spring early summer. Maybe a Easter release at the earliest.

Is Rhino the Ginger or the granola? I tried those. The Ginger is VERY strong. I was thinking something light and fresh like Ginger Ale. More like eating raw ginger. The granola didn't really do much for me but my tastes are really strange. When it comes to food I love baked goods and desserts but the ejuice versions don't resemble those things at all to me. I really wish I could like them!

I agree that the TC isn't "functioning" in the sense that no, I don't heat it up enough to get to my "lower limit" but it SHOULD be reading the coil (seems to be) and it DOES tell me what temperature my vape is getting to, and no, I highly doubt that the way I vape is going to "kick me" into to TC mode. Maybe if I deliberately vaped the one setup and chain-vaped it, Temperature protection might kick in.

I don't consider this "non-working" what I do consider it is "functional" in the sense that it tells me my vape stays cool, which is what I WANT. The question becomes do I "need" TC if it's really just providing straight wattage, and the answer is, at least in this setup, I don't. It just confirms my belief that at the wattage I vape at, and the way I vape, using the juices that I use, high temps aren't usually a concern in my tanks. I'm not going to raise my wattage and lower my high temp just to say "Okay, I am not vaping in wattage mode now." That makes absolutely no sense to me. But, these have been my expected results when I use TC-- I don't vape warm enough for long enough, to have "temp protect" kick in. Whether it's worth the extra battery life and annoyance, at least in this setup, well, possibly not. .I mentioned it merely because Coastal Cowboy stated my mod (the Eleaf Invoke) used the same TC as the pico, which I guess one reviewer found to be grossly inaccurate. Of course, it was one reviewer. But this mod and setup behaves like the rest of my TC setups, including my Steampunk and my one DNA mod. I consistently get the result "TC not needed/useful" at least the way I vape.

I'm actually pleased, in a way, as the vape seems pretty similar to most of my other setups, it's the ares, by the way, using a 1.0 SSSL coil, and no, temp protect is not kicking in. The mod is "reading" my temperature, about the same way as the rest of my vapes.

Perhaps this is the reason there aren't a ton of TC coils for MTL tanks, it has been my observation that when "in" TC, the vape doesn't ever get "too warm" for "safety." That makes me happy, and it also makes me believe that the setups I vape aren't reaching dangerous temperatures, and that is what my TC experiments have "told" me so far, very consistently. Obviously, I can't say, check my nautilus coils (although I guess I "could" I do have a homn tech mod in my vape closet, so at some point I might do that.

But, TC tells me the way I vape does NOT require TC vaping for safety, that's a win, as far as I'm concerned, and I will probably put the Hohm Tech in rotation today and check some of my other, non SS tanks.

That's been my experience too, in my brief excursion into TC. I messed around with temp and power and 14W at 380 was similar to my normal vape. That's with a 0.9 SS coil. If I take multiple long drags quickly I can hit the temp limit but normally I don't. When I first started the Jac defaulted to 70W for the ramp up period and on my first three attempts it snapped the coil instantly on the first drag, which made me cautious. After that I took the ramp up power down to 16 and I'm happy there.

Only been at it for a couple of weeks though. I'll probably experiment a bit down the road.

My friend at the vape shop was vaping the Rhino and loved it. That same day he showed me some Ginger Beer that he'd picked up so it might just be what you are looking for.
