Did you try contacting QP Designs about your Juggerknot MR gasket problem? Maybe they'll have some advice.

Contact Us

Nah,i just ran it thru the store i bought it from.
To be honest i don't know what advice they could have given me.
I mean i am 100% sure it wasn't user failure plus it happened with 2 of them, wasn't up for giving it a 3rd try.
Was thinking about sending them an email just to let them know about this issue, shame really i loved that rta.

$5.35 Demon Killer Kanthal A1 Alien Heating Wire for RBA Atomizers - 32 AWG / 0.2mm dia. / 0.3mm*0.8mm flat / 5m/roll at FastTech - Free Shipping
$3.74 Coil Father Heating Wire Coiling Jig Winder - 2.5mm + 3mm + 3.5mm + 4mm coil jig heads at FastTech - Free Shipping

Takes me about 2 minutes to build a 2.5, 3 or 3.5 coil. Very easy and much cheaper than prebuilt plus I can make sure the direction of the coil fits the atty. The flat wire listed is my favorite by far. Easy to clean and dry burn. About 5 wraps is around .5 to .6 so you won't need high wattage. Most of mine are 36-40 watts.
The QP mini clone has great flavor. Same or better than the MR IMO. Just doesn't hold as much liquid.

I did try to wrap my own coils but it didn't go well.
Friend gave me some wire and i got a set of Kuro windy things...did give it a try i swear i did but it wasn't pretty.
Followed the guides, read guides, watched the guides but i always ended up with one wrap going on top of the other, didn't come out the way i saw it in the videos.

So i gave up on that just so whatever i had left of mental stability would remain intact :lol:

Honestly I'm liking the wick rods, they work beautifully keeping my wicks saturated even when the juice is low. Nice upgrades for some but for me the og is preferable.

I thought wick rods were weird, then I used an atty with them. Big fan now. Just bought the one with rods. FT took PP, too, so it must be meant to be lol.

the bigger the stuff the easier to wind.

but seriously, with a single coiler like reload a small coil won't be great unless maybe you go all Angie with AF/driptip

oh plus i do remember leg length is importantish for this one> @Letitia what was the better spot for you? i think i have mine at 5.5 now

Usually that's because you pushing too hard...keep it loose and boom!! It's pretty easy to self wind them around a coiling rod or appropriate screwdriver too.

PS. THIS IS NOT A WIND UP

    From MT essentials :)
I saw that on Mark's fb page but ok stupid alert but what is it exactly
I'm guessing that at the top you shove a cart into it and it's like a cartotank/billetbox thingie that will go on to any 510 device

No it's an all in one Boro tank/RBTA which fits anything that...well... Boro tanks fit such as the BB, Abyss, Boxx and various other mods.

The 510 takes away the need for a 510 adapter and like other specialist bridges it comes apart without the need to dump the whole tank.

In theory you could put it on top of any mod with no recess but it's designed to go in a Boro device.

Okay, my next purchase will be a hack saw so that I can sell a body part on the black market. Suggestions on which body part would be a good, first choice?
Much cheaper at sourcemore. You do have to log in to see cheaper price.

@Letitia has the OG, maaaybe if you're lucky she has built it by now:thumb: now have faith, I don't think she's that lazyo_O
You would be wrong in your thinking. My "oh I have to use my new stuff right now" eagerness has long passed. Problem is I'm very happy with my current go tos and buy new stuff more out of habit than actual want/need.

You really should contact qp. I ordered direct, have had the same 2 mr is rotation since I got them with zero issues. My gaskets haven't shown any signs of deformity.
