You're slapping your mods? Naughty.

"There’s an essential fire locking dial doofafirkin" - is that legitimate terminology? o_O

What did he mean by using a "thin ribbon from an old dead mod" in regards to getting the battery out? Also, what if I don't have an old dead mod yet. >.>
You can use one of your other spare bits of ribbon. Surely you have a small collection squirreled away somewhere.

Coil placement isn't something I had considered. I just placed the coil where it showed in the videos I watched. Forgive my ignorance, but how does that effect throat hit?
The farther away from the air hole, the greater the throat hit. I think. I may be remembering wrong.

They're really good beaters....well at least the original was. I'm a fan but prefer the old version. The only limiting factor was the 22mm atty. There are people here with an original which is still going strong me included. And the Arctic Fox firmware can be uploaded...so it's temp control and general function is almost on par with a DNA board
I have nothing against the original. I've heard they are really good. I just don't know why they had to make the new version so ugly.

@Pigs search ss hybrid resin drip tip on Google and then tap images.
Thanks Letitia. I've just done that and found some that are similar. You know Ange though - walking, talking, typing encyclopaedia of useful vape knowledge. I know it's pie in the sky but maaaybe she'll know the exact one and maaaaybe they still exist.
Cmon Ange! Wake up already.

I've also been thinking about a thin plastic washer or material to house the PVC on the positive end in hopes that it might help save some destruction upon removal. I'll figure something out with the ribbon. ;)

Go for the ribbon, a plastic washer may add more height to the battery. Plus you want to keep that contact point clear so it doesn't cause extra voltage sag.

I'll likely use the ribbon, but mods that side-load their batteries concern me in the destruction of the PVC. It'd have to be an extremely thin washer bored out correctly and wouldn't interrupt the positive connection.

With the GT4, how are you using the AF? For me so far I like one side only - the more open one. I get a noisy af if I use the more restricted side or both. Might be my coil placement. Any chance you could post a photo of your build?

I was trying some macro shots the other day but my pocket camera wouldn't do it. If you guys don't mind my ol' sideways shots from my phone then I'll upload them.

@AngeNZ hey flatwirelady! this too thick? since i'm going bypass and luna now i though i need something to make it tween .2-.3ohm_ with 4wraps_ at the 3.5ID which i feel is usually necessary for all reload, blank, axial and probably go nicely in krma and elevate

    NiChrome Flat Wire 0.8x0.3mm / .031*.012" - AWG 23

this the reasonable one at zivipf? i went back to your older list but some links are dead now

i think i'm also gonna get the 6core unless somebody stops me_ why do i seem to recall someone did last time? this one

    Morning Virmus!!
That's a dual core clapton, not a six core.

This Special Clapton wire consists of 2 inner wires which has been wrapped with a thinner wire
