Muddy and soggy. We got off so lightly in the Mackenzie region. As our river levels were all at drastic low levels, the deluge hasn't caused as much damage as it could have.

Most of our main roads in and out are closed, and more rain is predicted. But it's nothing compared to what Canterbury is dealing with. I've got all my fingers crossed that the rain will ease off, before there's more property damage and stock loss
