That's interesting - I have a Kennedy but I didn't think it was squonk capable - I'll have to check.
Supposedly the steam crave Plus 30mm squonk pin works in the Kennedy if you have one of those. I suppose that would give me another reason to buy the Plus V2, lol.

    And on that note...

Anything is squonk capable assuming the juice has a place to be squirted inside. Now that I think about it, even decks where the pin is used for air intake could be replaced with squonk pins, assuming you like a really tight draw. It would likely mute the flavor quite a bit though.

Not all RDA's have a pin that leads through to the deck where there is full deck access.

I know, but that would mean there isn't a place for the juice to be squirted inside, lol.

Also, for whatever reason, some of the BF pins split at the end forming a T for the juice to come out on both sides of the pin - if that doesn't protrude high enough into the deck, those wouldn't work either.

I got mine directly from Kennedy vapor and I remember they offered the pin for a separate purchase. Sad that he closed shop due to the mail ban. He might’ve opened back up but I haven’t checked to see.

I did see that, but that's a $15 squonk pin minus the S&H. I think I can hold off until a different solution, hopefully on FT, is figured out. I'm also not sure about the clones - lots and lots of reports of the positive post being extremely fragile. I realize you get what you pay for, but there are tons of tanks for the same price that function perfectly fine.

Also a side note on the build design. I'm surprised more decks haven't implemented the chimneys that you see on the Kennedy. It would appear that most new decks gear towards and advertise "a big build deck", or low profiles, but longer channeled air flow is always going to flow better than short/open channels. That's particularly one thing that I like about the Kennedy's design.
There’s actually a good video by Morten Oen “ not sure on spelling” explaining why the Kennedy isn’t the best design for airflow. He also shows how to position the coil to get good performance. When I first got mine I thought I’d made a 100 dollar mistake as I couldn’t get near the flavor I could with a goon or a dead rabbit. After doing his suggestions it was like a different atty and I’ve loved it since.

We bought the car for her in high school and she's still driving it a year or two after college. We have done quite a bit of work on it in the past. About a year or so ago my brother in law who's a pretty good mechanic came over and helped me put struts and sway bar end links on it. It should be pretty solid mechanically but it's getting really old. I'd really like to see her get something newer but don't plan on paying for the next one.

We bought our daughter a car shortly after she moved out - she paid her dad back for it. She drove it almost ten years. Dan fixed it a couple times for her, nothing major, but I talked her into replacing it in ‘19 when it was constantly needing something and her dad’s not around to help with it anymore. She’s like me, she’ll drive them forever.

Is anyone using a Grus in their normal rotation? It looks nifty, but I'd like to know more about how it performs.

I used mine for a few days. It’s a nice little mod, no complaints. I haven’t used it a lot though, because I got the abyss and the Pulse and I’m using them daily for now. I’ll be back to a rta soon I expect, and will give it a little more of a try. Feels ergonomic, nice finish, feels solid.

What did I just say about mutual enablers. Haha :lol: This thread is dangerous!:lol:

My son is the same way. He’s in college now. I got him his first car right after he started driving. I bought him a reliable beater lol a 2005 Honda Civic. Mechanically sound but not very attractive with several dents and faded paint. Now in college he’s 5 hours from home and momma wants him to have a newer nicer car just so she doesn’t worry so much. I’m wanting to upgrade but he doesn’t want to give up the little civic lol

    Morning shinies ;)

So I'm finally juicing up and charging my Sceptre... I figured it's girly and cute for today's foray around town...

Anyone know how long it takes to charge these up?

Not long! Out of the 2 coils, I love the 0.5ohm. Better flavour with the 1.2, but more air and chunkier vapour with the 0.5

I've been using mine every day since I got it 6 months ago. It's been flawless. It's extremely ergonomic to hold and use, but it is a heavier mod. It doesn't hit as hard as some of my other mods, so I increase the wattage up a bit. And mine really needs an Ursa so it has a friend

Have you checked your Burst Mode? That affects how hard it hits. It has three settings : Soft, Normal, and Hard. Make sure you're not on Soft.
