You can get the TV and a roof tarp for less than the cost of a new roof.;)

got a new dedicated number. 32GB - 8 cores - RAID SSD array. a beast from the east. been consolidating various VPS i have dotted around the place (and my minecraft server!...yeah...i know). hiccups but no downtime. previously i would have chain smoked throughout...
this time. chain vaping my new strawberry hog liquid. only mixed it sunday but it is good...and have already sold some...goes towards the server costs
Nice!

We had half a dozen 16GB quad Xeon's that I looked after at my last job. Good ole HP DL580 G2's that the owner either picked up on a deal or salvaged from the scrap bins, he wanted to dabble in web, email and DNS hosting... So I put Debian on all of them, doing any of that under Windows would have been an complete exercise in futility. Thankfully HP cobbled together a raid driver for their Smart Array 5i controllers so I could mirror with a live spare. But with any old gear the 72GB SAS Ultra320 drives started packing in and they were getting just too hard to find.

I maintained those 35+ domains for quite a few years and really enjoyed doing such. Maintaining our other customers using Server 2012, not so much...
