Or even Catarrh...I'd like that I play the Catarrh :D
Wow Charlie, I did not know you were also an ethnomusicologist. Dang, your airway, cavity of your body, back of your nose, throat and/or sinuses are musical buggers.

Is your Catarrh microtonal in nature? And what do you call those notes that fall in between 12 tone equal temperament intonation? Or the microtones, intervals that are smaller than a semitone, otherwise known as microintervals. :)

Or would you prefer heterotones? Yes, that's a thing.

I do like The Catarrh Sputum dna 100C mod. :D

Don't mean to disappoint you but that could also mean it's en route for an extended stay at a Holiday Inn Express. Lolz :D

On 17track you will likely see 36 more status changes before it hits Spain.

I won't take it as sarcasm. I'll take it as something "other". Like as a very cheery compliment coming from my friend in Spain. I mean, realistically your package could show up any day now. I was being optimystical in an otherwise Roundabout way.

I'll be the roundabout
The words will make you out 'n' out
I spent the day your way
Call it morning driving through the sound of
In and out the valley

<cue Chris Squire (RIP) Rickenbacker bass>

In and around the lake
Mountains come out of the sky and they stand there
One mile over we'll be there and laughing too
Ten true summers we'll be there and laughing too
Twenty four before my love and you'll see
I'll be there with you

Besides I'm still wondering why Charlie thinks I want to play with his microtonal's.
  o_O

Was hoping for a ''any day now'' or ''yeah buddy in 2 days it will be at your door step'',you know pumping me up so to speak...but since you don't seem fit or unable to perform that role i will have to find other ways of performing said pumpage.

Thank god i still have my good ol' trusty friend Dolph Lundgren to do the task you failed to perform:

    Morning shinies ;)

Wow 7 yrs, I didn't think 7 hrs to go without a cigarette was even possible at one time long ago. Thanks everyone for the congrats, love you all.

I'm only 3 years without smoking, but it's the same for me. 3 hours without a cigarette was hard enough, 7 hours was scary - unless I was asleep.

If I'd quit by the usual methods, it would have only lasted until something triggered me back to cigarettes. Vaping works for me

Thanks, I never saw that commercial before. It's priceless.

    Anyhow...

Javi, your package will be at your doorstep in no time at all. Except Chinese delivery times are vastly different than the rest of the modern worlds. Sorry, scratch that. I meant you will get it in a couple days. But China also uses a different calendar. Oooops, sorry. I mean, you will have it real soon buddy. :) :D

Good call. Only reason it's like that in the authentic Kayfun threads is because years back there were auth vs clone wars that got pretty nasty. That got old quick. The authentic Kayfun threads were then created, in the now defunct HHV sub, in order to resolve the issue. Bronze, Vapdivrr and a few others kept those threads clone free. Clone folks were then free to create their own threads in the main forum. Problems solved.

IMO it was all pretty dumb, but, much in life is.

I would still post your questions in the KFL19/21 thread. Just don't mention the wee minor detail (clone) and no one will ever know the difference. ;) :D

    One of my SvM KFL19's...

I prefer a 26/36 SS316L clapton in my KFL19's. This one is 7 wraps / 2.5mm ID and is 0.55Ω. Just an FYI, my airflow is wide open, so I can MTL and RDL. I do switch it up and pop in an N80 alien from time to time but much prefer 316L so I can vape simple wattage mode or TC/TCR.

    SS316L 26/36 clapton.

Coil raised ~1.5mm above the AF.

My last 2 wicks were rayon, so switching to Mavaton's cotton.
    View attachment 945819
I 1/2 bow tie the wick before trim, making sure the amount I'm going to trim is even on both sides.
    View attachment 945821
Cut even with top of coil. On the tails I remove nearly 50% of either the cotton or rayon.

Wick tucked in and juiced up. Most important thing with that pic is the wick shoulders are off the AF block. No juice can ever get into the AF with the looped space I create there. I setup every RTA with a similar deck the same.

    :)

ETA: All the modern Kayfun's (all K5's, KM3, Prime and KFL19/21's) have the same style of deck. Same kind of wicking can be used in all with great success.
That's exactly what I needed to see/find out. Thanks SMT.

I started off using a little 2.5mm ID 2*28/26 fused clapton in mine then went back to round wire and haven't been happy with that. Gonna build and wick like yours today. :thumb::thumb:

@charlie1465 kindly sent me a gift of some Mavaton but it looks like it's been nabbed by Border Force/Quarantine, so I'll wick with 13 Feets today.

The real race will be to see who gets theirs running, with posted photos, 1st. ;)

OK then. You're on. The winner is the one who posts a naked Boxx shot with their Qbix built and installed. It's not really fair cause it's winter here...can I at least wear a beanie (on my head)?

I'm thinking @hittman might edge us both out but no nudie/no win.

Maybe all three of us will get them the same day. I’ve noticed on orders over 100 that it seems like they arrive quicker. My abyss got here a lot quicker also than past orders. I don’t think I’ve had any other order leave Melrose Park this quick. They usually sit there a week.

I went ahead and preordered a Hellvape Arez 120 from sourcemore today. The DRAGON5 coupon worked also. I figured I may as well take advantage since I knew I’d buy one eventually anyway.

I have some SS316L...2-28/38 wire. How do I work out the amount of wraps to get to the ohms I want?
Steam Engine don't seem to accommodate that.

I usually guess on something like that and use my fluke multimeter to take a resistance reading. I can pull off a wrap or two if it’s too much.

Yeah that's what I do to. I wrap according to the space I have...and hope for the best ohm wise.
