Long-winded photo story:
My sis decided to donate a couple of my pics to a local school's art auction fundraiser. My suggestion of using my nephew's photos instead got turned down, as they were included already from his school. So she picked her faves (12) and threw the ball back at me. I got that down to 2, and emailed the full versions back to her to choose.
As I've done all my post-production on an 8 inch tablet (I know you're shaking your head @charlie1465
) I wasn't keen to see the flaws on a big monitor. She dragged me over to see her faves in full HD and I was amazed. Yes, I saw flaws. But it was the first time I could look at them all objectively. My 2 faves then got sent to the printers.
Once we got them back, again she made me look at the results. Apart from me having kittens that they were blown up to 11"x14", I was expecting only 8"x12". Again I was absolutely amazed. I didn't think my camera's specs and my beginner status, would produce a quality print result. But they look just fine.
When I told my sis I'm going to get another set made, for my walls: she did this a few times
, and said 'I told you so' in her best lil sis voice
