I expected tr, but you didn't say why. You would've given my undeleted post 3 red xxx's there are others who would totally agree with me. We still can be friends..

It’s not that I disagree that vaccines work, or the numbers you quote. But that doesn’t tell the whole story.

That’s a percentage of the entire population, and is not compared to the unvaccinated percentage of the same population.

that's like saying only .0004% if people were bitten by female dogs, so they’re so much safer than male dogs. Without the numbers on how many people are exposed to female dogs vs male dogs, there’s simply not enough context to draw a conclusion.

The CDC also reports that 5% of Covid hospitalizations are vaccinated people.

So far.

But it’s early days. Delta is reportedly more dangerous to children than the first round. And schools are open, starting soon. And who knows what the other variants will do... or how many there will be because people just refuse to do the right thing.

Morning, Shinys,
Haven't had a chance to catch up and probably will never be able to. One never knows. Still struggling a bit with exhaustion weakness. Just wanted to say hello.
Have a great day...:)

Maybe time to call the doctor? Feel better soon.

I ordered a dvarw with inserts from 3f last week, and it hit JFK today. Maybe I’ll have it by next week. FT order with just inserts that took forEVER to ship is still over the ocean somewhere. sourcemore seems to be the winner on shipping right now, last two orders came in under 2 weeks.

Known fact of human nature....most people don't understand basic probability mathematics and even when they do there's a natural tendency to ignore it. At its most basic level for example....the more times someone goes shopping and is ok they tend to believe that the probability of them being ok increases.....

I think for the argument to refuse the vaccine to be valid, one would also need to separate themselves completely from the rest of the population. Sure, you have the right to refuse but you don't have the right to potentially endanger others or to take up valuable resources should you become hospitalized as a result of your choice. If you drive recklessly, you're held accountable for the potential damages that may result from it. That's all I'm gonna say 'bout that.

No shiny news today. Hope everyone is well <3

People that refuse to get vaccinated because they don't want to become part of an experiment, well...

They're the control group. Thanks for the contribution. =)

    Morning shinies ;)

Hoping someone knows the answer, does anyone know the width of these drip tips?

    https://www.amazon.es/Authentic-Aleader-Resin-Multi-color/dp/B082DJDLW2?th=1

Measured the one i am using and it's almost 1cm,that would be ideal for me,tried looking it up but haven't seen that info anywhere.

    cheers

They're the Aleader 810 8pk, which according to here:
Aleader ALL 810 Drip Tip 8pcs/pack
Is the AS116 variety. And the size of that tip is:
    as116.jpg

    According to these guys:
Aleader Resin Drip Tip AS116 TFV8 Drip Tip

Ages ago I had a fave drip tip, and wanted alot more. As it was an Aleader, I found more by being a geek and doing the above :matrix:

I love you, and I love this thread. But some of us have seen what happens, when opinions on important matters are divided. Especially regarding politics.

The fact that this has become political ticks me off, the people that manufactured this disease and funded the research need to be held accountable.

I love you and this thread too, but I'm not really sure the best way to respond. Covid is a political hot potato on its own and difficult to discuss without politics. I ended up deleting most of my previous post because it was too political. I believe it is possible to have differences of opinion here without it turning into personal attacks. We just have to be mature about it. I have not been offended by the red x's my post received. My original post probably would have gotten a lot more, but it is my opinion and I can back it up. However, since covid isn't the topic of this thread, I suggest we change the subject. I don't have any shiny news to report. That puppy is going to be huge. Just look at the size of those paws!

    Thanks @Javichu .
It's a lot worse for a lot of other people so I feel lucky.
Just north of us in Indonesia, the hospitals have collapsed and the graveyards are overflowing.
Even in Great Britain where 57% of people are fully vaccinated they're reporting 26,000 cases daily.

Saw new numbers from UK today. 73% of adults fully vaccinated, 89% with at least one shot. One of the highest rates in the world. Despite full reopening the number of new cases has started dropping rapidly. There was a hump in the curve a few weeks ago, likely due to football parties, but it's looking good now. It was bad for a long time there and some bad moves were made but the high vaccination rate seems to have come into play.
