I trim my wick a little bit longer on my Brunhilde MTL than you do Mate, I trim at around the bottom o-ring on the deck.
I'm not sure if you're a fluffer or not, I most definitely fluff with the best of em' and have always found it helps with wicking:thumb: It also helps to have the SS rods poking up about 1mm above the deck so they can make really good contact with the cotton. A nice plump wick is a happy wick on Brunhilde;) View attachment 956147
Thanks for that mate. Yeah i've been thinking of trimming a bit longer. Also the ropes are rather deep into the holes...they're recessed by about a mm. Been thinking of lifting them out some. I'll do that with the next rewick :thumb:

Welcome to the Shiny Brunhilde Thread. :D

Where the Brunhilde Brigade grows by the day. :thumb:

S'pect it will grow larger, once the stragglers get on board. Yo baby, the Brigade is a patient lot! Flavor.

I mean look how patient and confident @Daniel Forsyth has been for well over a year. All the while silently knowing we would come along at some point.

Daniel has been like the Stones song...

Time is on my side, yes it is

You'll come running back (I said, don't worry lil Dvarw)
You'll come running back (to vapin' with Brunhilde)

Yeah, time, time, time is on my side, yes it is

RIP CW (The Wembley Whammer)

Hey, @AngeNZ, a nonshiny-related question for you on behalf of my venerable mother: Have you heard of a gardener named Olive who used to live on the South Island (she's almost certainly dead now)? She was featured on an episode of The Victory Garden (a gardening show produced by WGBH, Boston's public television station) back in the late eighties/early nineties. She had a beautiful flower garden and made the prettiest little bouquets you've ever seen. My mother had the episode on videotape but now has no machine to play it on, and knowing Olive's full name might make it easier for her to find a digital version. Besides, she'd just like to know the name of this gardener whose work she admires so.

I realize it would be something of a miracle if you know whom I'm talking about, but my mother asked me to ask you (she knows of you because I've sent her pictures of Luna and Abby [for whom she much grieved]), and I must obey.
Came across this when I was searching the thread trying to find out when I first started talking about the Brunhilde. Did you ever ask your mother about this, Ange?

I’m hoping so. I’ve never liked big tanks so it will be a first if I do.
I'm sure you will like it. I don't like big tanks either. The MTL isn't that big really. I do have a few issues (mostly aesthetically) with the Brunhilde, but the flavor it makes, makes up for it....mostly :D

I can’t say that I’ve ever let the looks of a tank bother me. How it works is more important.

I’ll have to admit to being superficial- if I don’t like the look of an atty or mod then it doesn’t matter how well it works- I won’t buy it lol! Not very deep of me I know but fortunately or unfortunately for me there are LOTS of “good” looking vape gear for me to spend money on especially if they’re made of stabwood. It’s a cross I must bare (or is it grrrr bear?) in life :w00t: !

I took the window ac out of my bedroom because my rescue dog has ptsd and the noise was freaking her out. And of course the humidity has returned and I’m suffering. But she’s happy again. That and a 1/2 a trazadone took care of it.

Of course the ac didn’t bother her last year but she’s got some “issues” and she comes first. It doesn’t matter that I’m at that age where I’m suffering from horrendous night sweats and REALLY NEED an air conditioner to cool me down.

I hope karma is good to me. Or maybe this actually is karma which means I’m paying for whatever I did in a previous life. Oh dear  !!

im still having a shiny itch to buy something but no ones posted anything that I MUST HAVE!! And please don’t say Dwarv or Brunhilda  !!
