I keep browsing the dicodes website lusting after the Dani SBS's but just can't pull the trigger....I think it's probably going to end up being a must have though
@Pigs I haven't forgotten about trying the Qbix in the Boxx to check the airflow noise level but I can say that Veronica keeps complaining about the noise from the Delro. I'm running the box with the nautilus bridge and that's definitely quieter. My guess is....that the Boxx with the Qbix will be quieter when I get round to trying it.
My two sourcemore atty orders are giving warnings on shipping delays through postNL because of Covid restrictions so not expecting them soon. The Kumo's on pre-order anyway but should be available now ish.

When I first got the Qbix I was running the 4mm AF insert and it was a bit noisy and turbulent. Changed to the 3.5mm and that was night and day. Smooth and quiet and the draw suited me better. I know you like a tad more air than me.
I just did an A/B between a Dvarw DL (with the same build and 3.5mm af) and the Qbix / delro is quieter.
Interesting.....I guess it's how hard you draw on it that counts.
True. Hey you mentioned lusting after the Dani - you know I've been lusting after a DNA Ultem (PEI) version of the Delro. Thought I'd missed out because FT and 3F have both sold out/discontinued it. Apparently it was an SXK one-off run of 600.
Anyway, yesterday I found a local store that had two left. The price including free shipping and exchange rate on par with the Chinese vendors...a lot of money but I've heard such great reviews and...put it in the cart yesterday (thinking no I won't let Shinyitis get the better of me !)...turned off the computer...tossed and turned in bed last night...checked this morning and they still had one left.
It's on it's way. Will post way too many photos when it arrives!!!

Yes that's because of the tpd regs in Europe. It's done via a removable insert and when removed it brings it up to 3.5-4mls.
