    Somewhere between here and there
Don't want to influence your review but i've been on about it before. A quality mod that delivers 'stable' power (for lack of a better word) makes quite a difference in vape quality. The Mixx left me in awe when I took the first draw. Any tank that I put on it shines better than when it's on another mod. It's right up there with the dna mods.

Well, I’m used to using dna mods so look forward to trying it.

Man I love this Squape Arise. It's my all out favorite tank. Have it on the Mixx permanently now...and I reach for it 80% of the time.
I just had a look at an original....Pfeeeu it's EXPENSIVE. Gave me an almighty fright actually. You have the clone of it to? I'm wondering if it's worth it spending two months worth of vape budget to get an original. You know how much difference there is between the clone and the OG?

I use Rayon exclusively on the Brunhilde (on everything actually). I don't cut it to a point..as I do with some other tanks. I cut it straight...fluff it up and make sure there's enough cotton to lay properly on the deck and cables.
Do you thin it at all?

This tangle of hairy legs is a Garden Orb Spider Eriophora transmarina during her molting phase.

Any animals with exoskeletons like arachnids (spiders) and crustaceans (crabs, shrimps etc) need to molt and discard their hard external skins in order to grow.
So they grow in bursts, not in the kind of linear way a young mammal or bird does.

They are at their most vulnerable to predators at these times so it's unusual to see one during the day. This was a few minutes ago in the garden.

    I'm calling dibs!

Because I knew @DPLongo22 before you did. Plus along with his darling Kat, we have an old Doggystyle club membership.

    Beat that :p

Or we can split the proceeds....

I shall make the tea (tea = boozey drinks).

Love the look of the XvoSticks!

I bought the OG, and every spare part I might ever need, direct from StattQualm the day it was released last Oct. IMHO, the authentic is absolutely worth every penny. I don't know how the Arise clones compare to the OG. I never bought the clone. IMO, an RTA clone of any kind will never be that which an OG is.

I would say buy the OG if you like the clone that much. You will not be disappointed. I am 100% certain you will notice differences between it and the clone straight away.

And I am more than confident in saying that if the cloners made the Arise anything like the OG it would cost nearly the same amount. After-all we are talking high end Swiss quality versus something that is anything but.

I own very few clones these days. My personal thing was to always support the authentic makers. Much like other folks do with buying high end mods. No difference really.

IMO, all the magic truly happens in an RTA or RDA not the mod. The mod is there to support the RBA.

My Arise has been in use since the day it arrived. :)

I do not thin the rayon tails on my Brunhilde. No need to IMO. I experimented with thinning rayon tails on Brunhilde and noticed no difference in performance versus just fluffed tails.

If you continue experiencing problems with rayon in your Brunhilde then try a cotton wick. I switch off between cotton and rayon all the time in all my RBA's.

So sad to see the Asmodus thread closed. It use to be such a vibrant and loyal engagement.
The Asmodus thread wasn't seeing any active participation. Many of the folks who used to participate there no longer post on ECF. People need to actively post for a thread to stay open. If you want it opened then tag Classy and ask her to open it. She will. :)

I've tried cotton. Had the same problem. I'm going to try raising the coil, cutting the tails longer, and crossing my fingers tomorrow

Good evening shiny people. We just packed up from an all day yard sale. My Mixx review sample arrived today but I haven’t even had time to open it. I’ll probably wait until the morning. This will be my very first time trying one. Now, what tank to put on it.
    Dvarw DL of course.
