Morning all! Fred I love that Kumo. I’ve found that too, that some atties do better with some flavors than others. It seems to have something to do with how warm the vapor is.
Here it is with the other cap on...and a better tip :p
Airflow from the two caps are basically the same...which I think is weird.

Yep as Delores said they are mostly RBAs for Billet Boxes or other boro devices like the Abyss, the Boxx, Delro, Supbox and others.
I don't have the Wick'D Brig'D2 (the one with the panda) or the Ceo, but have others like them.

They are basically the same vape as MTL through to RDL RTAs but do need the specific boro-based hardware to work.
I vape them all day as RDL and never do MTL with them but you can set them up for MTL if you like.

Warning though...it's a major rabbit hole. Once you start, you may get hooked.

Agree with that rabbit hole comment, lol!

That is weird. I’d expect a lot more air with this cap - and I’d use it, if that were the case. But since the other one is just as airy and looks a lot better, at least I think so, that’s what I’d be using.

I actually prefer this one. The other one reminds me of a German war bunker :w00t:

I would've actually liked to have one of these, but ohm wise, it's a bit to low for me.

I usually ignore the resistance, especially with mesh - and more use the wattage requirements as a guide. But like most of us with a new coil - I then ignore that too when I get it. I'd rather a coil under 40 watts though.

@hittman I saw in your review that you like it at 36 watts - does the flavour drop off any lower?

I ran the first coil at 36 for the review. The second coil I’ve been running at 31. To me it depends on the liquid I’m running. I’ve got a tart/sour mix in it now and it’s fine at 31 with the airflow about 1/4 open.

I'm going to stray off topic for a change.

Here's a very young female St Andrew's Cross spider (Argiope keyserlingi) near my back door. Very common here but still so beautiful. I hope I'll get a chance to watch her grow over the next few months.

I bought one of those head band miner lights things that have magnifying glasses of different strengths plus a light. It looks goofy but it helps A LOT when building.

I have no idea why I didn’t get it out of the other room. Lazy I guess but Amazon has them starting in the $ teens.

I also don’t see so well for up close or small detail work. Plus I’ve got a hands tremor from some heath/meds side effects so the more frustrating the build is the more my hands shake.

Im glad this came up because it really does make a huge difference.

Here’s the one I bought for all of $13

That's exactly what I have and it works really well and the light is useful too

Yep,that atty also peaked my interest.
Never tried a RDTA so i like to review new things just to give the perspective as a new user.

Finally done with everything today, had a really busy day and now i am just chilling with my favorite playlist while looking at vape stuff.

So while looking at a Spanish vaping website i saw these with the black case with a panda logo on the front.

▷ Accesorios High End de Vapeo al Mejor Precio - Vapeototal

From what i have seen these go in box like mods like the DotMods or the Aspire Boxx right?

Only watched a couple of videos of these apparatus, think these are highly customizable as in you can use like a drop in coil or as an RTA.

Performance wise how do they compare to a regular ol' single coil atomizer?
The CEO will go in a Boro device only.....Boxx, BB, Delro etc....

It's supposed to do a decent DL and is designed by @Mark Todd

I usually use mesh coils at way below the recommended wattage in the 0.5- 0.7 range.
The problem I have with this low ohm (0.1/0.2) coils is the massive air holes inside the coil. It's usually 4-5 mm. They're designed for high wattage, and lots of air. I've tried forcing low ohm coils to be a RDL by lowering the wattage and restricting the air, but that never worked out for me.
I love these rebuildable mesh coils. Would like to see them make it in the 0.5 ohm range to...with a smaller air hole inside.

I'm a bit abrehensive. My Dovpo College is about to be delivered and I don't know what to expect. I know it'll be good device...it's a DNA, but some reviewers on utube had an issue with the ergonomics of it.
And worst of all is @ShowMeTwice is missing in action to calm my nerves.
    Anybody else have one?

Yes I have one but it's still in the box tbh. I do know that SMT loves the hand feel of his.

I'm getting a bit worried about him....I'll pm him today to see what's up. He's been MIA for about a week... probably up at his girlfriend's.

I think that the College will be a very comfortable little mod Mate:thumb: SMT never craps on that much about an uncomfortable anything:w00t:

    Morning Shinies

    Hope everyone is doing well.

I'm not checking tracking so my orders will get here when they get here. Kumo shouldn't be long though. @Fredman1 I hope it's not too restricted for me....I like a loose ish RDL

    Have a good one.

I won't exactly call it a looseish DL buddy. At max air setting it's about on par with the 0.7 Nautilus 2S mesh coil....actually maybe a tad more restrictive.
With only one hole open makes a beautiful MTL...just as I used to like it...about a 1.2 mm air hole under the coil.
