What appeals to me the most about the chunky monkey as a SBS along with its price, is that it has such a low atty shelf. And the Abyss in SBS mode is also lower than most other SBSs.

Good price at $45.99. It's also a chunky monkey at 88 x 52.5 x 28mm, but it does takes a 21700. Fire button is on the top of the battery slope.

On the Supbox, will I need a beauty kit? I'm not to clear on that. To me it seems not, as the mod looks like it can be used in SBS mode, by not adding the cage...is that right?

Piglet will know the reason why, but it definitely needs the beauty kit to work as a SBS mod. I wish FT etc still stocked it.

Now this is something that really tickles my fancy. Love that the RBA is included....also those VVC coils are superb.
But, i'm not going to line up in the pre order queue...Uh Uh. Next year.

It works in SBS mode without the beauty kit but I don't think I ever posted a photo in SBS mode without it.

I originally bought the beauty kit (funny name!) so that I could run the big Taifun GT IV on it.
The SBS cage is good for 24mm diameter attys and smaller but won't fit 25 or 26mm.

I prefer it with the beauty kit because it is more open but here's a photo with the SBS cage setup and the Arise. Vapes fine. Protects the tank too.

Sorry Fred - just read your post again and realised I didn't really answer that question.
No, without the beauty kit or the cage, the Supox won't fit together - it's part of the structure. So you do need one or the other.

The kit comes standard with two cages - one fits a Boro tank and the other is for SBS mode that fits attys up to 24mm.

Good question Ange. Doesn't look like much more air than the BB. Bit hard to tell, but the BB itself allows for plenty - it's more about how restricted the earlier bridges/RBAs were. With the current crop of new airier bridges like the Qbix and others, the BB does an open RDL no problem.

I like how VV have already come out with different bits and pieces to customise the Pulse AIO. Also like how they didn't glue the components, but used screws.

Yeah I know, i'm driving the point home again...but really this is a match made in vape heaven.

I think i'll just try and get another set with the Black Friday sale....load it with a different flavor.
This pairing will keep me in my happy place for quite some time, so it makes sense to get another of both.

Always been intrigued by these type of vaping apparatus.
Since i started doing reviews i had to add these to my list of things to try out and review,unfortunately they out of my price range...just like the Duke II in Zombie Green hehe

1st would be Liver Transplant Surgery Abroad for my pops (taking to long here,sucks!!),2nd is my Mercedes camper van and 3rd would be the Duke II Zombie Green mod.

Regarding the Pulse AIO Kit i will keep on checking the Sourcemore website,maybe if I'm lucky they will have it for sale there so i can ask for it when it's time for me to suggest items to review.

No internet for me today i gotta take in my PC to get it cleaned up,whole lotta dust in it and i gotta take care of my baby since it's basically my only source of entertainment for all those hours i have to spend at home.
