The challenge for me with dual coils is getting a high enough resistance without a whole lot of ramp up. I don’t generally like them with a mech, but I can get away with it if I can keep the resistance in the safe zone with my Lykans- 21700 battery performs better I think. But otherwise I pair with a dual battery, one of the better mods like a lost vape or asmodus.
I don’t find dual coils hot because of the extra air and space, and I like a cooler vape too.
Twin 0.8ohm coils? Fast ramp up....low wattage 0.4ohm total

If you have a digital multimeter you can set it to ohms and touch a lead to each leg.
I had to do this in the past, then wrote the single and dual resistances on the container.

Secondarily you could throw a coil in any rda on a mod without trimming the legs for the same result. Maybe like a drop or dead rabbit would be quick and easy.

I was actually thinking of doing just that with the coil and rda. Although I may have an old ohm meter of my dads. If not they’re always good to have around. Maybe I’ll pick one up from Amazon for not much money. It’d be a lot quicker and easier to do than build an rda.

I have a label maker I can use for placing the ohms on the bottom of the container.

thanks for your suggestions!

HA...I see Grimm Green says the airflow is a little bit to smooth

Yep, with the honeycomb insert. Which I still haven't tried - I'll start with it in the new one. He used the 2 hole insert after that, and that's all I've used so far. His video gets the blame for me taking the plunge!

I need to hear aNd learn more about this atty. I’m willing to shell out $ if it’s getting great reviews and comments.

Where did you buy it from? What was the price if you don’t mind. Maybe Cheaper Vape site can find some coupons or discounts.

I just googled it and I don’t like the looks lol! It’s too tall :w00t: ! Im weird becoming I don’t like “tall” atomizers :nah:?

Am I going the only one who will or will not buy something because of the way it looks. It’s all so subjective though.

UPDATE: I was looking at the wrong atty. This is the rda edition NOT the RTA that I was checking out. Going to take another look.

    Somewhere between here and there
Someone had mentioned the Fortune Cookie one shot here a while back. I got out the partial bottle I had mixed and am trying to use it up but don’t see myself mixing more anytime soon.

Nah it's not to do with the resistance, I just prefer a cooler vape. And I usually use the least amount of wire I can get away with, but still have fantastic flavour and vapour.

What scares me, is having two raving hot coils to vape
But you are right, with a bigger deck and a ton of airflow - I really need to try it. At least once!
Sounds like you don't own a dual coil RDA...?
Tell ya what...i'll send you a good quality one to test. If you like it, keep it. If not, you're welcome to send it back.
I'm not really into that either, but if you build it around 0.5 ohm you can have kind of a medium cool(ish) vape ;)

Good morning Daniel! Hope you enjoy your day. Any new mods or gear lately?

    Good Afternoon Sara:)
No new mods for me until next year I don't think, I'll be happy with my new Good Wood DNA 75C for a little while yet;)
I do have my Kumo RDTA which is very new! It wouldn't suit you though, not enough airflow:thumb:

@Fredman1 or should I call you Mr. Steampipes? Toot, Toot:lol:
Here I sit vaping away on the the Kool Kumo:thumb: My little thoughts?
I do agree with your good self it's very very easy to coil and wick this. The Kumo does have very nice flavour but I honestly don't think it compares to the Brunhilde MTL RTA, close though! It may be just be me being a little bit Brunhilde biased:)
    Overall the Kumos a Keeper;)

I'm glad you like it mate. I agree...flavor wise it don't beat the Brunhilde. It's because of the bottom airflow of Mrs Brunhilde. What I love about the Kumo is the saturated vape because of the wick system....and the slow an easy vape it gives.
I got very mediocre flavor in the beginning from it...until I lifted the coil so the air hits it at the bottom.
The Cabeo is flavor wise about on par with the Brunhilde I think. It has two air inlets directly on the coil.
    Air makes flavor....
