seems like this is more your style to post.
One of my first jobs was to remove a koala from a shop. Thank god it was fairly placid cause they have sharp claws! Finally got him and then my partner made me sit in the back of the car with the koala on the drive to the sanctuary.

PS koalas don't smell very nice.

@Walter_Sobchak , less wick. Less wick in the coil, and thin out the tails. That's usually the cause of dry/burnt hits.

I use rayon, and even then I'm finding sometimes I overwick the coil. Not enough for burnt hits but sometimes my wick life is poor, at least on the 22 mm version, although I vape that thing like it is going out of style, (the 22 mm) so I tend to rewick it more often. My "sign" off too much wick in the coil was it was breaking in two inside the wick. I tend to want to overwick, and rayon shrinks so it helps with that, but I have found no leaking (when wicked just right) with much less wick than I sometimes "feel" I need.

Best of luck,

Anna

I'm used to the way that I stuff the coil when I wick the Zeus. These MTL RTAs are a completely different animal. Many thanks!

Start of Day 3. I would love a fresh cup of coffee.

On battery 5 of 7 20700's. Wife said i had too many, who's laughing now? Still have 12 18650s just in case...

We have been tagged as getting power back between 6 & 11 pm. I'm not holding my breath but they have made some progress south east of us.

Thinking once we all get motivated I'm going to reluctantly visit Starbucks at Target..

No water, no electricity, no coffee.
Headed out now. Going to grab a cup at Starbucks with an extra shot.

We've gone 7 days before during a snowstorm. Back then I smoked, bought a carton before it hit. Also bought water bottles and instant coffee, heated on the stove.

This was just wind so I didn't believe we'd be without power more than a day. Hoping they are accurate and get it back on today. Still around 3000 without power so I'm not alone.

Cool thing is all the battery packs have kept phones up, Emma's tablets running. In laws live just up the road with generators for emergencies.

We're put out, but ok.

I have a no power coffee backup plan..

I have one of those propane stoves for emergencies and an aeropress coffee press..

You should invest in one of those coffee presses.. (I'm sure you already have the backup propane burners)

I do feel for you having no power... that totally sucks. .

Guess the backups for backup ideology has not merged into @jfcooley 's overall mind set yet.

my basic plan is expect the worst and anything else is gravy.

FWIW I am still acquiring gear for either a horrific tornado or the zombie apocalypse.

As a vaper you can always make coffee. Just need a big enough coil

I hope your wife doesn't have a possum phobia like you do
Here is a photo of an Australian possum to add to the collection. Not a sharp tooth in sight......
It's Australia, everything wants to kill you, there have to be venomous barbs hidden somewhere!
