Daniel, I was thinking you tried the Lindwurm? I got one for review and built it with an included coil and the 2.1 airflow insert. I have to turn it up pretty high to heat the coil but the flavor just isn’t there. I think I’m going to have to switch to a larger airflow pin. I thought people raved about the flavor on this. I guess I need to play around with it more.

I have given my Lindwurm a good vape Mate:thumb:
Mine has the 2.5mm a/f insert in there, the more air coming out from under the coil the better I think! Then adjust your external a/f accordingly.
I was getting pretty good flavour from this, definitely not Brunhilde flavour though so it's not in regular rotation.
It's worth playing around with a bit more. You'll get the Worm tasting nice:)

Thanks. I’m going to have to pull the coil and put in the larger airflow insert. I’m still getting used to the airflow adjustment. I thought I had it wide open but one was open and one was closed.

Does anyone else have the Vaporesso Gen 200? What are the three choices F (t) mode, PUL mode or VWN mode? @hittman?
VWN is variable wattage normal, PUL is Pulsed output, and F(t) is kind of a modified temperature control. Somewhere in one of my reviews is an explanation I found on this mode. I like it and can tell the difference between it and pulse but some people say they can’t.

Spent a couple of hours this morning trying to re-wire the DNA 60 board in my 2019 BB. No good. Soldering skills just aren't up to the challenge. I'm left with a DNA board and screen that works but I need to get a new up/ down button set. Tiny wires and contact points. BB in bits in stasis in a box.

One of my main challenges was seeing the tiny point-to-point contacts. @AngeNZ how are you finding your geek goggles? I think I need a set.

My Topside dual squonkers cleared customs in record time, only 3 days. They are out for delivery today. They even took the time to vote, Republican, I hope.

Suffering from major shinyitis withdrawal, I found it impossible to stop from ordering a couple of these:

I prefer fire bars and have no use for the tank, but I like green. It's light, cheap and a US vendor.
This should satisfy the urge while I fork over $3500 for a transmission rebuild.

When will they come up with a shinyitis/hoarder vaccine?

My eyesight is at the point where I need actual reading glasses, so the geek goggles are just brilliant. Look around (no pun) as different models have various lens options. Mine with a 1x is good for decks, but for finer work go up to 8x. The ones I have are a way cheaper, crappier, lower magnification version of these:

I do find it hard focusing on a certain spot sometimes with the goggles, so a desk clamp magnifier may also be an option for you. Something like this:

Like our Hitman, I prefer using F(t) mode. It's not a temp control setting - it just vapes better for me over pulse mode. Luna prefers pulse mode.

I've only used the 2.5mm insert in mine. I have always toned the external airflow right down too so I get my usual RDL! You most definitely can get a lot of airflow happening with the Worm though. @hittman is vaping his one with quite a bit of a/f so he may be able to give you an idea:thumb:

life and work have both been busy and I haven’t had a chance to change the insert yet. With the 2.1 and wide open it’s still RDL. I like RDL but feel like I’m not getting great flavor. I might switch with one of my own coils when I change the insert and see if that’s better.

Thanks Ange. Yeah I've had to use reading glasses since my early 40s. It sucks.

Trying to fix the BB, I was using a desk magnifier attached to a soldering rig but it was a clumsy way to work. I reckon the geek goggles will be more practical.
