Can I tell you how much I absolutely love shoveling...
It has its advantages and its disadvantages. The former outweighs the latter for us. My kids have grown up playing in shallow brackish water and they know how to bait their own hooks and filet their catch. Between hurricanes and tourists.
The closest good fishing is in Utah about 3 hours NE. My son is getting to the age where he is ready to go. I haven't gone myself in a while. I need to make time to get up there. We are overrun with tourists. I feel your pain there. We catch the remnants of typhoons and they try to wash the Earth of our city. I can't imagine taking one head on.

I guess the fact that I enjoy movies has something to do with it. The fact that the host bashed the Reverend Pence is just an added bonus

On average, we get a bad storm about every 10 years or so here. A tropical storm or a weak hurricane about every other year.
From late spring through late fall everyone here becomes a tropical meteorologist.
I like movies, too. I don't like listening to people who are exceptionally good at making me believe that they're really someone else. Actors and politicians alike. They're also good at bashing one other.
He's a great actor. I first saw him in Thunderbolt and Lightfoot. I still wouldn't care to hear him prattle on about something other than his next movie.
Everytime I go back to Iowa everybody has The Weather Channel on constantly. They are on the North end of tornado alley.
