Quick pop in to say hi.

Rocking a bad bad i mean really bad cold...changes in temperature here got me all sick.
Had to call in social services to see if they could send someone to give me a hand in the house because i am bed ridden (should be) and i just can't do it all myself.

Sent a nice lady to help me out and hopefully in a couple of days i will be in better shape.

I did have a pending review to write so i got that done but using my tablet while in bed,hope it came out ok because between the meds and my current state i feel as slow and groggy as a groom the day after his bachelor party....never got married so i am just assuming lol.

Inflammation of the bronchial tubes. Lots of chest congestion. I finally went to the primary care on Thursday and she listened to my lungs. She diagnosed it as Bronchitis. She prescribed the usual. Steroids and anti-biotics and albuterol liquid for a nebulizer. Also an inhaler. I did not start the meds right away because she also sent me for a chest x-ray. The x-ray results landed in my online chart that night so when I viewed it and it said "Negative" I decided not to start the meds.
Then I made an appt with my pulmonologist and he said "bronchitis does not show up in an X-ray, start the meds immediately. So I did. 3rd day today and feeling much better. I have had this chest congestion for weeks before I finally went to the DR. I suspected it was from sub par VG. So I bagged up all 50ish bottles of ejuice I had made with the subpar, ordered some VG from Nude Nicotine and made all of my stuff over again. I will never know if that is what caused it or not

Anyway while here i was wondering something.
In the near future maybe a week or two i wanted to get myself another Hellbeast 2 (Gold) and i always had this thing for a gold like setup but i am drawing a blank on the mod.

I do know Asmodus had gold mods,think it was the Minikin 2 but i would prefer just a single battery mod (21700 if possible).
I have seen a couple Minikin 2 gold color in the UK but meh...i don't need that much power and for my daily use just a single 21700 would be enough.

Anyone know of any mod with a gold color similar to the Asmodus Minikin 2?

Vapefly has the Kreimhild 80 in gold/black that looks nice and it'll use a 21700.

Ok Dani lovers- I’ve managed to turn it on and somehow push enough buttons to change the Power or Watts. But I’m still stuck on how to change the coil material. Right now it’s on SS316 but I’m using Ni80.

ANY tips and yes I read the manual and watched a video. It’s still confusing to me. Soooo again if anyone has some suggestion on how to change the Power mode I’d appreciate it,lol. Btw it’s a gorgeously made mod. Every little thing about this is made beautifully.

Guess I’ll go watch another video!!!!

Oh and did I say’- it’s a beautiful mod? Well it is. Now I want more!
believe it or not that’s a lost vape Centaurus that came with the Lost Vapes Centaurus squonk which I thought sucked at the time and put it away. Decided to take a second look and it vapes fine as a dripper.

Question for those who already have the SXK Ion in silver, is it silver painted aluminum or is it polished brushed aluminium?
And, the 510 connector to the atty, the one at the bottom, is it adjustable?

@Tor R the finish on the silver SXK PRC Ion clone is a textured silver - not raw aluminium but seems consistent and shows no sign of wearing or scratching over weeks of daily use. The base of the mod (always the first place to wear or get scratched of course) seems the same as the first day I used it.
It does feel and look high quality. If you want some close-up photos please pm me and I'll send some.

SXK used to have a website that gave details of manufacturing processes and details of all their devices. Hard to find/access now.
I did find their email address though.

They do not have a setting for Ni80 and KA since neither of them is intended to be used in TC.
If you set it in TC, you will get a sub-menu that tells you which materials the mod is set up with, and there you can choose between the usual materials, or enter your own TCR value.
If you are in watt mode, material cannot be selected, and doesnt mather if your coil materiale is not suitable for TC.

Looks like my ordered boro aio is going to start moving this weekend.

The finish is anodized, not painted, and very nicely done IMO... The positive pin is not adjustable.

Yes, it's going to be an SXK, it's perfectly fine that there is anodized paint on it, I'll have that removed with my foredom, and have it polished up.
I like aluminum as it is.
Not one purchase I'm stressing about, with luck I have my first aio next week and can find out if this is for me or not.

Ok finally figured out how to use the Dani Box 21700 in Power mode. I’ll deal with temp control next time I rebuild this or another atty with some ss316.
