    Somewhere between here and there
    Good morning Shiny's
Tried to order 100 more gti coils but there were only 75 left so snagged those. Sourcemore still carries them but not sure if they are preorder or in stock.
It's funny you mentioned that. I was thinking that I should do a bulk buy on those too.

Where did you order from? Sourcemore is pre order on the .4 coils.

    Good morning EveryOne :w00t:

We've been talking a bit about pods v rebuildables recently. Some of us are hardline in our opinions, others less so.

Enter the Justfog Minifit (been around for years - plenty of us own them):
Very nice Mate. The Minifit looks like a nice little rebuildable device.

I don't think there are any hardlines, all vape gear serves it's purpose and should be openly embraced by the vape community.

I’ve heard other people mention that one. I bought one a long time ago but gave it away to a friend.
Most people who rebuild them use NR-R-NR wire (Non Resistive-Resistive-Non Resistive). It keeps the resistance to an exact reading which the battery on these things prefer. Also the legs don't get hot so the plastic deck won't burn.
I had a bunch of the wire bundles in my FT wishlist, waiting to join my next order, but they disappeared along with everything else including some new Minifit packs.

Very nice Mate. The Minifit looks like a nice little rebuildable device.
I use it for stealth vaping SMT. Ideal because of the tiny size. They weren't designed to be rebuildable but some clever people worked it out and shared the technique.
There are a few tutorials on youtube.

I hate the idea of anything disposable so don't mind the extra effort.

    Nice haul Tor!!!

I chuckled when I read the labels on your wire spools ---> " No China Wire!!! "

    NoChinaWire.jpg

I buy my wire from TEMco and WireOptim (formerly Lightning Vapes). Both only sell wire made in the USA.

The last spool of 26g SS316L (500 feet) I bought from TEMco was $12.96.

    Thanks mate.
This was more expensive than TemCo. I would have bought TemCo if shipping had been easy, but it was both complicated and expensive.
I had heard of Cloud Revolution & Buddha Wire and Daniel gave them very good reviews. They sent within 24 hours and everything has gone perfectly through the customs system etc,.
The order was high enough that shipping was included, 25% more wire, and promotional price.
I paid 268 AUS, but I got a lot for my money.

I think I have wire for my life, the only thing I have left to get hold of is Twisted Messes Ni80 40ga.

Surely they are just another disposable, plastic pos?

    No!

They are easily rebuildable and use a simple coil with organic cotton. A mini RBA.

My idea of a good pod.
reminds me of rebuilding the Kanger Sub tank mini. Or was it the Pro-tank? I used to do it but am no longer able to do nimble-fingered work. Or maybe I just do not care anymore. Several other hobbies have taken over

same exact with the one I am talking about. Not made to be rebuild but someone figured it out and shared it

I was supposed to sort and get all the wires in a box, and found out that I clearly had quite a few wires from before.
Tomorrow's job will be to buy something bigger!

With these tobacco taxes in China on el cig, stock up while there is still an opportunity, but truth be told, the usual will still be available, just a different route.
FT pulled the plug because they did not want to give customers a price increase of 36%, it is not certain that SM and 3F think alike.
For those of us who like a bit of DIY, FT was the big player. I gone miss them.

I spy a real Mobb m2 rba
I've wanted one for a while, but it didn't become interesting until I started using the VapeSnail.
Right now it's in the sink

Got the last of the gti coils at ft and a few boxes on preorder at sourcemore along with the istick i80.
I saw they were out of stock there. Are you an istick fan? I haven't used one for many years. I am going to start doing some reviews for JWEI that runs Joyetech, Wismec, and Eleaf.

I started out using isticks but they were too lightweight for my hands and kept dropping them. They were fantastic little mods and am grateful I had chosen problem free simple devices to use while starting out on my vape journey. My uncle inherited those, 30w, as well as my 80w istick. He is still using them 7y later. I couldn't resist ordering him the new i80, he does pay for our Wednesday margaritas and meal night. Lol

FT Craton is on a flight out of China!
