Home here with me for two days and he is an angel, full of snuggles, eats like a champ and lets me give him his medication orally. He does not trust any human except me.
My dog has allergies too. Year-round. She takes a very expensive pill twice a day. Apoquel. If she does not take this she chews on her foot and licks it until it bleeds. So I just bite the bullet and pay $90 a month for it. She has cost me over 4K with this eye surgery and drops. The only other alternative was eye removal so I agreed to this.
My retirement money is flying out the window at a rapid pace.
