I'm not a fan of proprietary squonk bottle designs at all. The bottle on the Empire squonker looks like it was over engineered to the max.

A normal squonk bottle would have been fine. The added room would have allowed for a larger squonk bottle to have been used. More juice capacity.

Also, IMO, a regular squonk bottle would have made the overall cost lower.

Good point. I think I’m going to pass on it for now.

Someone on Reddit has an Empire sqounker that leaks where the bottle connects to the mod.

"Just this morning I had a leaking issue and I think it has to be the bottle insert. It's too loose in my opinion."

    Poor design???

I got an email from Vaping101 and they are getting in the Stubby 21 which is a 21700 version of the original that I already bought. It kind of makes me mad. They had to have planned this where they released the 18650 version, sold a bunch, then are releasing the 21700 version to sell more. Seems like a dirty move to me. I for sure would have went for the 21700 version if both were available when I ordered mine.

Yep really wish I waited now, would much rather have the 21700 version.

They said they will still produce both versions, as mainly MTL vapors, prefer the smaller size and 18650 battery is enough for them, I am MTL and much prefer 21700 battery, but I do use clapton at 20 watts. But they wanted to cover the DL vapors who need more power.

Not sure I will buy the 21700 version, really like the stubby, but not sure I want to spend that much again.

Thanks for the information. I am pretty sure I’m going to pass on it.

I’m pretty sure I won’t buy one. First off because it made me mad that they releases them this way. Second, it’s not worth spending another 130-150 for it. It’s a nice mod but should be closer to the 80-100 mark in my opinion. I love my BXR and didn’t pay anywhere near that. I could preorder two of the Meson kits and have money leftover for that price.

  Learning to say "no" is an art in the Shiny thread. Like me with boro's (no, nope, not gonna ).
An Atmizoo RTA on the other hand, a no-brainer (for me).

Congrats on your Atmizoo purchase Mate!!!
Thank you very much mate, in this case I put all the blame on your shoulders !
It wasn't the plan, but that's life.
I'll turn off the lights and put on my sunglasses next time, so maybe I'll have a chance then.

I think their idea was to make a squonker that is easy to fill.
That said, I struggle to understand why really, most people who want a squonker see it as a charming thing to dabble with, it applies like keeping it fairly clean, and filling the bottle.

100 percent agree. That’s the weak point in the design.

a squonk in my eyes is 510, bottle connection either with tube aka Lukkos style, or metal flange with two o-rings on 510 to have a tight connection, aka Sunbox.
The third good solution I have seen is Steellab's where the 510 has a drop-shaped end.

Some other fancy solutions used on this squonk I think is a weak solution, and for 130$ one would think it was aircraft aluminum they had used.

    Morning shinies ;)

There's a couple of ancient farm buildings down the road, where I took my Tenet and z80/Lethal pics. Photography-wise I'm a kid in a massive candy shop.

    Good afternoon vape people!!

I wanted to give Lost Vape a shout-out for their outstanding customer service. I had no luck finding the custom replacement squonk bottles for the Lost Vape Centaurus squonker. I contacted them to see if the had any to purchase. Customer service responded back informing me that they would send the bottles to me for free.

Now that’s how to treat a customer.
