I’m interested in 18650 because those are the batteries I’ve got. All the squonkers I have are lostvape and I assume long ago manufacture ceased. I’d take a dual or single 18650 squonker though the dual ones tend to be large. My only real need is reguated. Doesn’t break easily is also nice.

If you are looking for an excellent quality, and affordable, regulated squonker that uses 18650's with the included sleeve, look no further than an Eleaf Pico Squeeze 2. The Squeeze will also take 20700 and 21700 batteries, should you ever feel the need.

They are very solidly built mods (no plastic parts). Tough too, my German Shepherd has sent mine flying more than once with her tail. I have three. Have had zero problems or issues.

If you like temp control vaping, the Squeeze 2 can be upgraded to near DNA chipset quality via the Arctic Fox firmware. I've upgraded mine.

Eleaf US has them in-stock for $49.99 (comes with a spare bottle). It's the only place I know of that has them in-stock. They sold-out elsewhere fairly quickly. Folks who own them love 'em.

Curious: Has anyone with the Boxx tried the boro tank designed for the Nautilus coils? If you have, how tight does the MTL go? Unlike other brands, Aspire is generally very good at catering to MTL users, but I would appreciate any confirmation if anyone's done any testing. 1.2mm is the max I ever go and I prefer 1mm.

I've had mine set up and I use it with a 0.3ohm coil, wide open. Which is the opposite of what you want! I'll have a decent look at the afc ring, and the bridge's chimney id and let you know. In terms of quality it's brilliant, I've had no leaking etc.

    Thank you! :) :) :)

I'm guestimating, but the chimney id looks about a 3mm. But of course with a MTL nautilus coil that will shrink down to your coil's id. As for the AFC ring - you can easily shut it right down to a pin-...... So I don't think you'll any trouble getting your 1mm id from it.

    Good morning / afternoon folks,

I have spent much of the day checking prices, when looking for branded tools, there can be an incredible amount of money to be made by choosing the right warehouse.
Off brand, AliExpress any day, nothing beats them.

German and Swiss electronics hand tools aren't cheap, so yes, I've been looking hard.

I have had 4 electronic warehouses that are in the Norwegian VAT system, probably none of them are Norwegian, know that at least 2 are from the UK, and RS Gruppen UK bought Elfa Distrelec, €135 million, technically there are three lol.

To conclude briefly, Knipex was the cheapest in a Norwegian computer shop, but Ideal-Tek was significantly cheaper in a Polish warehouse.

This has also been slightly remodeled:

Dirt cheap. We don't have Amazon so I went Aliexpress
    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005470085592.html
But just search for a 300w mini heat gun on Amazon if that's easier.
This looks like a good option on Amazon

Do you rewrap your batteries due to age even if there's no visible compromise to the original wrap? I have battery sets that have been in rotation for over two years that still look good. Just wondering if they should be rewrapped anyway.

I recycle batteries after 2 years now and very rarely have to rewrap. Used to keep them much longer and did a lot more rewrapping, so maybe they do get more fragile with age.

If they still look clean and dent-free, I leave them regardless of age. I have noticed that Molicel wraps seem stronger than my Samsungs.

But since I've got a few see-through mods now, I'm rewrapping some older batteries for creative reasons only.
