I’m testing the Tauren mech mod with the ether boro tank. I’m just not really understanding the advantage of having a boro mod as a mech.
I came to the same conclusion.
As much fun as I had mucking around with the appearance of mine, I don't see it as a practical mod.

Anyone who's used boro devices for a long time will tell you - doesn't matter how careful you are, there are going to be times when your setup's resistance jumps around or shorts out.
The tolerances are so tight in the tiny chambers, and the way the design of boro systems relies on the pressure applied to the flush nut (or integrated tip) means that once in a while you will have a problem.

In my opinion, for a mass-marketed device, they should have made the X Chip (mosfet) mandatory, instead of an option.

At the very least they should have made it possible to lock the fire button. All side-fire mechs should have a lock system so you don't accidentally fire it while in a pocket or carrying it around.
I also think it should be easier to disassemble and clean the contacts.

Morning shinies ;)

Mission impossible: Respooling a reel of clapton wire trying not to bend any, while running around in circles to avoid Luna - who keeps grabbing the end, acting like this is the best new game ever.
Lol Wire is cheap let Luna go berserker!

Morning @Tor R .
Any chance you could post a photo of the tractor or any scenes from the farm?
This is such an interesting thread- from the far south to the far north of the planet.
I'll try to do that a bit more regularly, T.
I have older photos but it's somehow not quite the same, autumn is coming and we tend to be out in nature more, says Øsa.

Hey Shinies, happy Sunday! Hope everyone is safe and well <3 I've been enjoying some quiet introspect this evening as I strive to better understand my inner strawberry.

Just some of my types of shiny these days. Working hard to stop procreation. 8 trapped and taken for spay and neuter on Monday. Making my total 44 in about 5 weeks. Only about 40 to go.View attachment 1000155View attachment 1000156View attachment 1000157View attachment 1000158I am also collecting donations on FB to help with costs and to bring big bags of food to this wretched trailer park of death for cats. I have raised over$1,300. Using a great hustle, networking and begging I have gotten a lot of the clinic appts for free so the $1,300 can go the medical costs and food.
Sorry, no shallow obsessing over gear at this time in my life.
Well done! Fundraising is daunting, but I’ve found a lot of people will want to help, if you just give them the means to do it.

I was doing auctions, but raffles are bringing more money now.

Morning shinies ;)

I miss FT! I've seen that the glass for the fireluke 2 is the same size as the fireluke 3. As for the coil compatibility, this page lists them:
FreeMax Twister Fireluke 2 Replacement X/TX Coils (5-Pack)
I do havé 2 firelukes, and that was only the 3rd glass I’ve broken in my life so it’s not like I make a career out of it lol. I was digging through my bits and bobs and found a spare glass -yay! - so I should be good for a while. And also found this bubble protector

These came yesterday. I’ve been going through the pod stash, using the old stuff up, set aside some to PIF. I still mostly use a mid and tank/rba but these come in handy for yard work and out and about.

The Jellybox is really nice, decent airflow, good flavor. The Ursa baby is a little tight, but I got it specifically for the lanyard, for mowing. I’ve run over a lot of devices that fall out of my pockets. It’s got a nice texture on the back side so it’s not slippery.

Just shopping for this stuff did remind me of why I got into RBAs though. It’s maddening trying to find the correct coils for pods and tanks.

I have loads of coils and can’t remember what they went to. Many i don’t even have that device anymore. I need to cross-reference a few and see if I can make use of them.
