My 3F package has arrived at LAX. After 3 days of radio silence it's started happening all at once. Now I guess it has to fight its way through US Customs. Recollection from my FT days is that can take anything from a day to several weeks. Gives me something to look forward to when I get up in the morning.

    Good evening shinies,

We went hunting with Øsa today, together with friends, she was formidable, as usual there were no deer for us. So, the stock is the same after today lol

Parcels, svoemesto have landed at the customs authorities, Creme de Vape, NomNomz, SteamPipes are in the air. Signature Tips is still sitting in Birmingham while VaprioEU is waiting for the package to be picked up.

Then it looks like Cenntenary Mods is approaching batch 4 Diplomat mtl, I like everything about that atty.Almost bankrupt if this continues, but they say we live once and we don't get the money to the grave.

I have to change a bit on my mixx project so that the dna chipset sits more correctly in terms of height. Will do half the job again, but I think I have a plan..and it may be that I like the end result better.

My new SXK BB frame has arrived on Aus shores. Should get it in the mail box by Tuesday hopefully.
Then I just need the positive pin assembly from Vape and Make (Germany) and the DNA 60 from Stealthvape (UK) - both in transit - and I'll have all I need to put together another custom BB.

Sounds like a plan. I wonder how hard it would be to put a Dna60 in an Abyss. I have one that the board is shot in from leaking.

I'm not sure how hard the installation would be but a DNA 60 does fit in the Abyss chassis. They released a limited edition DNA version of the Abyss in Stormtrooper colours a while back. Pretty sure it was delrin.
If you do go for it, you should take video and photos of disassembly. Best to de-solder from the board end first so you can re-use the battery positive and earth wires. Probably up/down button wires too.
I'm a newby at this stuff but I have some helpful wiring diagrams that I picked up from other members. I could send them to you if you go ahead with the project.

I’m going to think about it. I found a spec sheet on the Dna60 last night that gives a list of the connection points. I’m surprised someone hasn’t already done a tutorial on it already.

This data sheet shared by our mate Pat has pretty much all you need.

    Good morning folks,

    Vape Mail:

Steampipes were smart when they designed the Kumo, against the Cabeo none of the tank parts can be used.
Kumo has an internal diameter of 21mm while Cabeo has 20mm.
That said, the Kumo is superbly machined, when I get 510 rods to use for polishing, this will be fun.
Since it's a little different from the Cabeo, everywhere, I'm looking forward to finishing polishing, and putting it up against a Cabeo and seeing if one of them wicks better than the other.

I couldn't resist so the FL 80 stock has increased by 3 chipsets. Bought with me 2 DNA C screen since CdV is cheaper, a Prime, Tank Extension, and a BB Sweet Chamber.
As always, Keith from CdV is awesome, put a super low value on the package so it floated right through the customs inspectors.

Just realised there's a minor hole in my stash. I use OG KFL's. Noticed the plastic tank section on one of them had a crack so I went to get a replacement. I have plenty of them but not many clear ones. Left it a bit late to stock up and vendors were running out of clear, I got a bunch of 5 packs containing one clear and four of different colors. Shortly after that you couldn't buy them at all. I just have 4 clear left, plus the ones installed in my stash of tanks.

I'll always be able to use the tanks though. The colored plastic works fine, it's just a little harder to see the juice level. Plus I have a couple of dozen of the long plastic sections. Shouldn't complain really, just means I'm only good for 100 years instead of 200 years.

    Vape mail number 2 today:
    IMG_1628.jpeg

This could have quickly ended up in the return, had it not been for the fact that I double-checked the tracking number to DHL, I found out that this had received two tracking numbers, one was DHL tracking, while it received another tracking number when it went through customs in Norway. It was at DHL that I saw it, the Norwegian system did not give me any notice.

Usually Kayfuns tend to be clean, but my BB had machine oil in the AF needle, gross experience when it spilled over to the coil and the chamber.
Will be a wash of the three new ones.
Their new BB drip tip, super comfortable.
