Morning shinies ;)

Record breaking 5 days from 3f to me vapemail. Which is doing absolutely nothing for my already miniscule willpower.

The panels fit well and look amazing on. I'll take a pic of them on the Raga soon.

I may have put another order through for some more of these. And some clear panels.
glad i've been cured but do have

... So all I checked when I got it was the hole size.
Ange I bought that one that splits at the base and their other SXK that splits apart ⅓ rd of the way down from the top with a centered bung. It's all a blur now, I was so p'd off. IIRC that one had beveled legs but neither would allow the two positives to to touch.

    Good afternoon Shinies:)
I've been 1 month vaping and 1 month smoke free today:vapor: Took awhile but I feel like I've settled in, maybe even have building and wicking figured out. This forum has been a huge help.

On topic, I've been slowly looking at (mostly) RTAs and putting together a list of ones to take a harder look at.

You are definitely over the hard part. And I swear a huge part of what has kept me smoke free is ECF and finding new favourites. And I include setups, devices, rebuildables, airflow, juice recipes and vaping styles in that category!

    Congratulations on your first month.
When I came to the forum it was to learn, I still do, but it quickly became a hobby. I think most people who end up on a vape forum get vaping as a hobby.

    Thank you.

I understand what you mean. Being on ECF and learning about vaping has been a big help in staying smoke free for sure.

    Congratulations on your first month.

    I appreciate that.

You're probably right. I can see it becoming a hobby, if it isn't already...I certainly spend an inordinate amount of time looking into vaping gear.

    Great quote J.
A few years ago I sat transfixed watching a bright green praying mantis walk along the window sill (it was outside, I was inside watching through glass) plucking at the web of the black house spiders that live in our eves. The mantis does that to trick the spider into thinking an insect has been caught in the web. When the spider darts out to investigate, the mantis makes quick work of it.

That sounds like it was fun!!! I've read that praying mantis are fairly intelligent. And quite skillful hunters.

I love just sitting and watching all sorts of critters and birds. Sat outside watching a couple squirrels chasing each other this morning. Tossed some pecans to them. Each time I tossed them closer to where I was sitting. The braver of the two came to within a couple feet from where I was sitting to fetch some. Little bugger sat right there munching and watching me.

Last year at my home in the city I had a very friendly chipmunk come right next to my feet to eat some nuts I set down. He/she was a regular for a time.

    Congratulations!!!

Have you considered trying an RDA? You won't find an easier RBA to build/wick than an RDA. An RDA would help you to get building/wicking under your feet, making the transition to an RTA easier. Just a thought..........

    Thanks!

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. I have a Berserker RDA that I enjoy dripping on.

I think I've got it figured out. I've gotten reasonably confident with coil building (using a screwdriver was key; coil tools are too tiny for me). Wicking was more challenging but just in the past week I think I got the hang of it. Time will tell if the wicks hold up over time.

A big part of my confusion was the black residue that I thought was burnt wicking on my Brunhilde was just juice residue (I think), because I recently found that it washes right out (in the sink). I expected it to give me dry hits, so I just kept rebuilding every few days. That and each of the 4 RBAs needs a bit of a different method to wick. I struggled with figuring out the right amount of cotton to use through the coil as well, but I think I got the feel for that now.

I have a mild case of "itus" I'm finding, which sent me on a hunting expedition. My first (excluding eleaf isticks) dual battery mod was an Aegis-X. It was a nice mod, until it fell in my driveway...then not knowingly, I ran over with my tractor. It got a severely fractured screen and blew the button faceplate off, but it still worked on previous settings. I finally bought another Aegis-X to replace it, and all was good again. Since, my affliction for them has caused my mod selection to grow. LoL

ROFL. I knew this wasn't a support group. I was trying to avoid "following" the thread, for this exact reason.

I'm small time compared to most, I think. I'm currently hooked on finding Geekvape Mods. I began this in Mid December 2023, with one new replacement. On Monday I will have collected nine.

    Throw me a rope!!

The 9 mods in only a couple of months is a pretty good start to your collection so you're definitely doing well there!! It took me about six months before my Asmodus collection started to really kick off, I managed to collect a few of those ones!
If you're after any other Geekvape mods in particular or any other mods for that matter just pop up a post with the details of the mod and links shall come your way(hopefully!) We also do tanks and other bibs and bobs in here :thumb:

I might just do that, with a the hoopla and static upon us. My state (Washington) in the U.S. is pressing hard with bad publicity, I think by Mid-Summer of this year, the retail side of availability will all be banned. Politics...FFS. I may as well stock my supplies!!

I never tried the X but have a large stockpile of geekvape hardware that I accumulated from purchasing and reviewing before I had a falling out with them. I might be convinced to let go of some things if there’s something you’re looking for. I’ll try to pay attention to your posts here on this thread.
