Would I be right in thinking that to sell a lot of the review stuff, you'd want to do that while the devices are still pretty fresh on the market?
Most likely. I think some stuff still might sell but I’d probably have to price it so low that it would barely pay for shipping.

I’m hoping that there will always be a segment of vapers who are dedicated hobbyists. And that they will continue to be active on this or other forums. I started vaping to quit smoking and right from the get go I found that I had a really enjoyable hobby and became a collector as well.

I hope that you enjoy your weekend! Any plans? I will be reorganizing again so I know what I have and where it’s located. It’s very time consuming.

When I started vaping I kept a diary. Every day, sometimes a dozen entries in a day. I heard that was a good idea because it was another thing to fill the void left by cigs. It was easy because I was doing so much new stuff. And I spent hours every day on ECF, which also helped fill that void.

I check out the BB thread quite often. That has the same level of new stuff and excitement you used to see across ECF in the old days. Few months ago I had to replace a screen on a BB, lots of interest and people offering suggestions and so forth.

It's hard to think of stuff to post on ECF when nothing has changed for years. Today I fired up a 10 year old KFL on an 8 year old Provari with my favorite blueberry menthol flavor. Yippee.

There are still hobbyists hanging around here, and a steady flow of newbies. I wonder if it would be different if we hadn't all been living under the deeming cloud. Maybe more of us would be buying new stuff instead of sitting on tubs full of KFL's and Picos.

Imo it would have been totally different without the FDA... stores would still be open, maybe even Fastech...

Then toss in that most of the "new" stuff is pods and disposables, neither of which have any appeal to me.

Yeah, KFLs and Picos. (And a mess of other "old" mods of course.) They work for me.

I agree. AIOs (BBs, boro mods etc) is still a thriving field for hobbyist vapers. Plenty of new products hitting the market and even the occasional innovation.

I know what you mean. I keep buying stuff I already have because I miss those days when new gear would become available and everyone was in a rush to get them. It was so much fun although I spent waaay too much money. Now I have medical bills I’m having to sell of a lot of my stash for a loss.

I still cruise the online shops still open and it’s always the same stuff except for disposables which I have no interest in.

I definitely think it had to do with the then upcoming deeming cloud. Good pickup I wouldn’t have thought of that myself right off. I missed the first panic buying but was heading the herd with the last one especially all the Flash Sales. I was like a kid in a candy shop.

I still have several beautiful Provaris I bought when I don’t even MTL! I just got caught up in the buying frenzy. Those Provaris will be in the Classifieds soon unfortunately but they are really gorgeous and have never been used or used a couple of times. I hate to sell them but they’re just sitting in a box not being used. Just not enough watts for me. I need a strong DL vape.

Amen to this. I sorted through my tubs of stuff, Taifuns and Eleaf, etc, and sold/gave away most of it. I kept everything Asmodus and most tanks that use drop-ins. Of course, I kept my stash of way too much nicotine, so much that I will never use it in my lifetime, and sometimes I seriously resent it because it takes up room in my freezer.
