Which Skyline? When I've had that issue with my "coppervape skyline clones", changing the o-ring UNDER the build deck solved the problem. Yes, complete tear down to get there but effective.

The dope is really the only boro I'm using now and really like it, but when it's real cold (or hot) the only thing that doesn't seem to leak are my squonks

True - extreme heat messes with my boro bridges and rtas in general. I don't get extreme cold here so can't comment on that
