Good morning : ) Well, I ordered some 28ga. 316 ss wire from amazon because temco was out. It seems to exacerbate my metallic taste problem to a lesser extent than K or Nichrome. Now I'm thinking it's from the radiation and my be with me for a while. Now to rewick a bunch and see how it goes. ugh
@borno well, SS316 does contain chromium which is in both K and Nichrome. Nichrome and SS also share Nickel, but much less in the SS. All 3 are alloys (mixtures). Good luck.
On the other hand, Titanium is pure but has drawbacks in that ramp up is lightning fast so you'd have to start lower than normal and work your way up. It is safe in straight watts and I have used it that way forever. I dry burn it at like 8 watts, and vape it at 25-30 watts in a boro.
