My days as a modder are on hold for a bit, had a little accident with the Stanley knife and got a nice cut on my index finger along the finger, ended up in the ER and needed stitches.

Now that I was lucky and avoided serious injuries, I think my knife technique needs to change a bit! :sneaky:

Yikes! Thank goodness you didn't cripple your finger.

So I have a question for all the boro users.
Most of the bridges I have used get a bit finicky. I will have a great vape for several builds and then problems. The older I get the less patience I have for figuring out what I did wrong. So I put it up and use squonkers etc...

Anyway now that that is out of the way.
I am very intrigued by the Oddjob 2. Seems stupid easy to wick.
Anyone have any experience with them?

I have a couple pod devices I take to work and would like to get a Boro rolling that quick rewicks are possible.

Yep, lucky I avoided cutting vital parts of my finger, one long clean flesh wound that had to be stitched.
Although I have good control over the Stanley knife and cutting parts, I'll stop holding parts with my fingers. A man who is almost 60 should know better.

I’m glad it wasn’t too bad. Been there myself. I got a new 12” slicing knife for bbq and went to wash it and sliced my finger. Needless to say, I’m more careful now.

I kinda gave up on rebuildable Boro bridges. Now if I’m going to use a boro then I use a tank that uses drop in coils like gtx, aspire, or pnp coils.

Yeah I know what you mean. I would like to get away from buying coils again though. I'm cheap. I mean frugal.

I never really felt tempted by prebuilt coils. Most of the tanks I have don't take them and I don't want to buy new tanks. Early on I had several tanks that took prebuilts but none of them were as good as the ones I made myself. Those were old timey tanks though so more modern tanks are probably better.

I have quite a few gtx and pnp coils from doing reviews over the years. The only ones I’ve bought are the aspire 2s coils I use in original hellbeast tanks and the Vaporesso gti coils for my itanks. I’ve gotten quite lazy with building and the coils I do buy seem to last a long time. I can understand wanting to save not buying coils and if the performance is better.

I've used the odd job, but went back to the qbix rba and didn't spend much time with it. Out of all my rbas the less finicky ones are the rdta versions. They don't leak and are easy to wick. Veepon tita x rdta is one and I know there's others out there too

Was it the odd job v2 you used?

Don't know why but the stubby 21 appeals to me. It comes with the big stainless wick boro.

Nah I've got the v1 odd job. If you can get a Stubby it's worth every cent.
