This recapped did not come off as that fair and balanced... Do you work for Fox News?

I find it perfectly fair and balanced..

Is there another position on the issues of the day?

No... I thought not.. hahaha

Actually I doubt I would. I use it maybe once a week. The dot has taken over.
I am waiting on a 20700 Therion, no hurry. I just have the opportunity to get an amazing deal on something (non vape) and would need to raise funds quickly. That's why I'm going back and forth, need to do fast.
Trust me when I say DON'T rely on the DotSquonk...
Given what I've read, failure is inevitable...
Breaking it open would most likely confirm my suspicions, but also void the warranty, so I'm holding off...

And as far as the doors, Lord Vader called dibs first if I go that route...
They are black.
I'm hoping I can salvage this somehow.
I'm not complaining, as for almost 3 months of chain vaping, she served me well. I just wish it were a little easier to tear down, being it's unregulated.
Oh well...

People were saying that DOT quality went downhill hardcore when the original designers left the company..

But with JC singing praises I figured maybe what I heard was a bit of BS..

Good thing nothing worse happened, now I do think I'll forgo getting a DOT for the box for real.. Thanks for the heads up.

It really was phenomenal, and I was aware that issues had showed up early on in a few isolated cases. I had assumed that was the extent of it, and since I hadn't had any issues until a couple weeks ago...
Figured my mod needed cleaning, did so, got a few more days out of it, and now it's permanently stuck in short mode...
Really makes me sad, as like JF I really loved it.
I am gonna go back to where I bought it, and see what can be done...
If nothing can, I'll attempt my own repairs.
All else fails, toss it.
I really hope it can be fixed.

I have two Tritons that I have not used in four years lol
I kid not, I bought out 40 boxes of 1.6? Triton coils from a going out of business vape shop for about $20... figure in an fda emergency, I can go back and put them in the melo 2’s that came with the Picos I no longer have . As to burning , I don’t get that at even 14w. But, it may be the flavors I use. Also, I think the mod makes a difference. A good board with steady output = no burn, imho

Okay here we go @NolaMel ...

I found some tc coils for mtl. If you have the Nautilus X then these should fit.

Aspire PockeX 0.6 Ohm Replacement Atomizer

Aspire PockeX Replacement Coils 1.2 Ohm MTL SS316L - Pack of 5 (MSRP $20.00)

If your up for trying tc anyway.. I read up and according to reddit these coils work in the Nautilus X.
Have several nautilus x’s my sister passed on to me ( she switched to DL), I hate the unscrew to fill. Y’all gonna learn one of these days, I’m lazy and contrary lol

Well you can go with the triton then with the .15 ohm coil, it's top fill - I'm not sure it would be fitting for your vaping style though you can always try it..

@untar had something to say about it earlier but never completed his thought to make a suggestion for you.. perhaps he knows better than me as I've never used TC..

He may have been trying to indicate the triton coil would work fine for you I don't know. .

@Eskie knows more about this topic as well.. especially the triton .

The triton .15Ω are Ni200 iirc, should work fine but may need an initial boost to heat up (TC setting of 20W or so). Obviously the TC will lower the wattage quickly as soon as the set temp is reached.
Not sure if the triton really is an mtl vape though, usually devices that claim to do both don't come near the chipmunk or steam locomotive performance.

Currently I’m on the Zenith, but I’m sure as soon as I stockpile a billion boxes of coils, I’ll change my mind and get something else . I have five shoeboxes of tanks and coils ( plus a box of tanks I never used that came with mods). My closet is a vape museum practically.
