@NolaMel Just a quick FYI I only started using RTAs a couple of months ago.

@stols001 and @Letitia and a couple others from the forum helped guide me through.

I picked up the Coil Master V3 kit (includes the ohm meter, some wire and cotton)
started with an Ammit 25 and now am in love with my Zeus tanks.

both are single coil decks, and even tho folks swear the Zeus is a sub ohm tank, I find it working well for me using 28 gauge A1 Kanthal wire (bout 9 wraps) 1.5 ish ohm at 20 watts.

I have also acquired a Wasp Nano (RDA)that I have yet to build, but that may change this weekend.

Hope this helps calm some doubts about to building your own coils.

Add me to the list of people that say - you can do this! With your jewelry background, it will be easier for you than someone like me who is tool-challenged to a high degree. You'll wonder why you didn't start sooner.

Had a disagreement of some sort primarily with Mike Vapes and vapnfagan.
Now I will preface that by saying I like Mike and Fagan does decent work and is entertaining. I do trust those 2 as I have seen them do bad reviews.
There is a jai haize with these 2 talking about it.
Basically Dj got mad at them and used his status as a reviewer to try to cost them subs and suppliers.
More or less told every reviewer he could that the were being paid 5k to give good reviews to certain companies. Which hurt their credibility and livelihood since they are full time reviewers. They swear the opposite.
What sucked is people believed it because if who it came from.
Jai has screen shots of dj stating this.
Dirty pool in my opinion.
If you have a disagreement with someone, you go to them. You do not try to take their credibility and livelihood.
Anyway I look up his stuff once in a while since he does do good work. But just can't support him after doing what he did to people he called friends.

Ok with all the voopoo drama got a question for y'all.
Djlsb has been mentioned alot for his DNA profile etc...
With all the drama, I have to say dj is a very smart individual but a bit of a douche.
Any one else aware of the drama he tried to start a couple months ago? I unsubscribed from his channel afterwards. Don't get me wrong he does good work, but just doesn't seem to be that good of a person.
Oh and he is moving to the U.S. for those who don't know.
Anyway was I one of the only ones bothered by the way he did some other reviewers?

No, you're not.

But then, Busardo is just about the only one who doesn't bother me.

If I saw almost any one of the others walking up my street, I'd probably chamber a round.

My Review of the Voopoo Drag I've only used it in VW I have used it daily for about 3 weeks and I have abused it and it takes a beating and keeps working. it's kinda heavy I like the swirly side and I love that it says Drag. The button sticks a little but it's only done it twice as think. I would recommend it it seems very durable and reliable

I try to avoid watching any of the drama and focus on the reviewers who share information that's important to me. That being said, IMO Daniel does some really great reviews. His build tutorials have been very helpful to me but that doesn't change the fact that he comes across as an arrogant douche, but he's an arrogant douche with a lot of knowledge.

Personally, I watch Tony and 1 or two others pretty much when I'm researching a mod. Seldom do I take the actual "review" to heart unless a real flaw is uncovered. Looking at you iJoy 1w....

This Voopoo VV thing...well....meh.

1st, I doubt I'd buy either mod. Not that the Regulated Pulse will be bad, just not aimed at me and I'm no buying something because it's the flavor of the month. I have and regretted it.

I "like" alTony in as much as one "likes" someone on the internet. Did he get into a mess by trusting a Chinese company? Yep. Should he have seen it coming? Well sure. I can shrug that off, we've all had a desire and chased it all be damned.

Lastly, this boycott is useless. People have a problem boycotting stuff that really matters, the .... storm will blow over like all net dramas.

Oh, and destroying a mod you've already paid for is just dumb. Voopoo has their money. You're only hurting yourself.

Darn. I missed all that fun. To be honest I don't watch many of the U.S. reviewers. I feel like most of them are spending more time trying to entertain me than teach me. That's just my opinion though. We all have different tastes when it comes to vaping style, equipment and juice. Why should our tastes in reviewers be any different.

I’m not sure one of those is the Aspire in the pictures. . Of course I wouldn’t recognize a squonk if it bit me.

Maybe, shelve this back in the closet and order the ares or??? What is mtl, easy to build, won’t leak and is top fill (preferably without having to uncap). See, I’m not picky at all

Not my first, fortunately, that was on my Pharaoh mini..It took a couple of tries, but it worked.. just takes some persistence, and a lot of help and encouragement from you fine folks.
