From the bottom Mel, and don't lose insulator ring. Once you have a small cut just pull/tear the wrap off. Put each in a separate battery case after you wipe them down.

Carefully, if you haven't done it before. Don't use a metal cutting implement in the vicinity of the positive end. The + and - are pretty close together. And don't lose the insulating ring unless you have spares.

If you have done it before please forgive my egg sucking advice.
