It is night time here....this little fellow just came to visit me. I think he was drawn by the lovely smell of my brandy custard vape. For you @Walter_Sobchak

it is! can't say we're looking forward to the travel but the holiday? yes :headbang:
I am hearing you! Whenever I travel it is so far to anywhere from where I live. I TRY to make it fun and tell myself as soon as I leave my front door my holiday has started.
Works....most times!

When I was young I used to love travelling... I've been all over this country seeing the various state parks and things to do.. I've been in the caverns at Carlsbad, New Mexico, seen the white sands (the white sands was not as interesting as it sounds. . Lol) gone to some rodeos in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and some pow wows too. I've hit state parks and national parks in many of our states and seen many exciting things (like the space needle and the arch)

But you know the older I get the more i just want to stay home... now I'm hard pressed to want to drive one state over to see the kids..

And that's sad .. lol..

i've never, really, been a traveller. little money when we were kids so it wasn't really an option. visited a few countries in europe...and NZ (long way to go!) but the green green grass of home has always been sufficient. mostly. sounds like you've seen some proper sights

I know what you mean! I can barely drag myself around to see friends on my days off now. Am very happy just to spend my days at home and not see another living soul. (Except for my dog of course).

In fact I cancelled my leave in September this year. Was going to head overseas but really couldn't be bothered. Postponed them until April next year, and hopefully I will drag up some enthusiasm to travel again.

I do love travelling but am always excited to get home again. Nothing like it!

one of the things i like about RTAs...finding the sweet spot of each one.

Agreed! That's why when I find one I like, I master it and tend to buy more. One Goblin became three. One Moonshot became four. One Battlestar RTA became three. So on and so forth.

Oh... mernin, y'all.
