Well that article is disturbing in principle, although I agree with some that eh, not so fantastic things could happen. It's too soon to tell.

SO glad I bought 2 liters of nic this a.m. (Freebase, and at rock bottom prices, but I can convert to nic salts if necessary. It makes me feel a LOT better, at least for now.)

Also glad I save all my spent coil heads in a jar. Oh, I have a TON of drop in coils as yet unused, but I save EVERYTHING. LOL. Also got more flavors, and feeling pretty set, there.

You know, my hoarder mentality with vaping is serving me well, when I heard that first announcement from the FDA, I kind of knew worse was to come, as since when (ever?) has a politician kept to their word, but the FDA is almost worse. In any case, it's too soon to tell how awful this is going to be, but very glad that from the moment I joined ECF, I was working toward self-sufficiency.

I so very sincerely do not want to get into that "customs turning back packages" situation. Their "plans" are going to take some time, but I think they may happen sooner than expected, and possibly worse to come.

Bummer, indeed, but you do what you have to. I've been editing away and also finding therapists (labor intensive, but I know how to do it, LOL) for my sister's son. He's definitely "One of the family" that is for sure. I have loved that kiddo since he was born but I was also like, to my sis, "Don't let that kid break you!" He is about 90% stubbornness, LOL.

I doubt they will hire a company that small and the co. they do hire will have a list of who the FDA wants a hard look at.

Yeah, they will list the largest retailers for sure.

As far as not hiring a company that small, with expenses it won't be able to be much bigger for real. The company itself they hire will likely be larger, but this will not be their only contract and they wont be devoting many more people to it, most likely.

It's either that or its an anti IQOS article (of which there are many)

Japan Is the New Ground Zero in the E-Cigarette Wars

But there is no real reason for anyone to post anti stuff unless they prefer the black market - or are hoping to get in on one..
Love the pricing disparity... wonder which one BT is pushing. Hmmmm. “Most e-cigarettes sold elsewhere use nicotine-laced liquid, which is heavily regulated in Japan. A pack of 20 HeatSticks sells for 460 yen, the same as regular Marlboro cigarettes.”

Most governments will follow the money. They need it and there are plenty of citizens. Some try to find a balance between what is good for both, some not so much. Lobbyists here are poorly regulated and cost us money and health risks. We Americans have developed into a nation of elitist selfish people. Is it any surprise the government is the same?

The most salient point in the article, IMO: "The FDA has asked for bids on a contract to provide “Vape Inspection” services. The agency is prepared to spend $23 million over a five-year period to verify compliance, and has published a detailed list of items inspectors will be searching for."

Good luck with that.
I have no doubt that they will find someone to take the money. There will undoubtedly be no oversight and a lot of small business owners will be forced out of business. Big Tobacco is going to get their money's worth

Break down the actual cost Mel, even Nude Nic sounds almost reasonable then. Liquid Nicotine Barn, Nicotine River, Vapor Tek, and Heartland are the more reasonably priced. Most of us order at the holidays and subscribe to email alerts for sales. Wizard Labs used to be more popular but qc seems to have become an issue.

The small juice businesses will take a hit and maybe independent mod makers. Let's face it, it's pretty easy to stay under the radar if you are careful who you do business with. Reminds me of the old days of getting unmentionables.

Dean mentioned on FB, that the reservoir under the deck of the GV loop spills juice out of the air holes when you tilt it to vape.

I' really wait for a review on that one...
That's what I was thinking. Better RSA than RDA probably. Do love the deck, shame they didn't take a bit more time with af.

Love my VT TH from 2014 - It was $25/L in 2015 -
I had a few 3L orders @ $75 w/free shipping
 $66/L now!

Nude Nic is still $105/L

I tried Heartland a few years ago. It was tasty in a good way.

My favorite was RTS and they price matched.
I got a couple of orders of RTS @ $25/L

WL was good but had too much TH when I was vaping 18mg/ml

I'll probably get a few L from somewhere during AF/Easter sales

It may have a nice shape but no vertical dropoff right in front of the tilted bottom airflow slot just asks for juice to go through there. It's a fail in my book.
Might be a fail for rda use. Depends on the pin if it's a rsa fail. I saw the af and got comfortable on the fence.

They’re almost twice as high as nic river.... quality difference?
Subjective. Wait for sales, there is no rush. You have friends who would send you enough to play with until a good sale kicks in.;)
