Sad thing is that we now live in a world where Darwinism is not allowed to do its job. I mean a warning on a coffee cup that its contents could burn you, shaking a vending machine could make it tip and crush you. Do we really need these people in the gene pool? The downside the more that blow their faces off the harder they make it for the rest of us

They don't put those warnings out for intellectually challenged. They are due to frivolous lawsuits that should have never made it to court to begin with.

While I do enjoy reading the Darwin awards sometimes, I find it hard to wish harm on the criminally stupid. Some simply can't help it, and some, like the "take a knee" football player, it wasn't his fault he was adopted into a white family who appeared to value "entitlement" among other values. Couple that with a genetic predisposition to sports and a while family "encouraging it," well, you wind up with an excellent football player who felt he wasn't getting paid enough/ needed more attention, and came up with the "drop a knee," solution. While I know many were offended by this, I kind of felt bad for the dude.
He clearly had little real world experience other than, "Everything you do is great, honey."
That little fiasco, the entire time I was thinking "That poor little thing... .this is what happens when no consequences are applied, and then the real world comes along and "applies" some." It was so clearly misguided.... to everyone else.... Or, everyone normal and adult, I might say.
So, while there are times stupidity is funny, it often isn't, and it can be a little sad. We all get born into this life with handicaps, and for some of us, it's stupidity and etc.
You can fix stupid. Unfortunately, you have to do it from a somewhat young age, and it is a real uphill battle... and you can't fix ALL stupid, either. I do my best to be tolerant, certain that others in life have looked at me as "stupid" on occasion.
I do wish there were some "test" though, applied when buying a mech. You know, a written paper test? Etc.
