That's one way for a shinyitis meetup although to be fair, we should choose some sort of central location. LOL.

I've got this horrid combination of fatigue/antsiness/desire to everything/desire to do nothing going on.... So, probably time for a road trip soon.

I can't buy one, I'm saving all my love/money for nic. But, I will bring my brand NEW doggy style for Trolldragen to build for me, LOL. Kinda almost considering digging it out but EHHHH!! My last (enforced) day of rest.

Another solid Genny that is much easier to build, is the Origen Genesis MKII.

Single or dual coil, with the larger deck holes for cotton. You can rotate the deck plate around and use the smaller holes for mesh builds utilizing the center post for support.

Don't forget that the VA Kraken came out 5 years ago... Massive changes since those early genesis days.


Back in the day it was a great genny, people lined up to pay $120 for them. An authentic VA Kraken with a proper build would be quite the conversation piece with the neck beards at the local B&M. Most of them don't know anything past putting a TFV8 coil in a cloud beast...

The easiest no fuss build to put in it would be EkoWool over SS Rope, zero hot spots to work out and the rope wicks like a champ.

I posted a picture of the BD13 ceramic (Al2O3) wicks and I still have some if you want to try them out. If you think mesh is hard... You have to hot wrap the BD13's

Just completed first build on the Goon... quite easy actually. Loving it on the cyclon as well
Wishing the AKA leather was matchy-matchy with the other side like some that I’ve seen.. oh well no effect on performance

Never had a real goon.

Maybe I should look into it. Doing mostly single coil though.

Had that... my elderly mom. And the crew boss, aka the hubs . Tripled our porch space. Could have used an assistant to refill my tanks though!​
