Nice! That is a good lookin mod. I don't know about the parallel to series switch though. I would hate to have a really low build for parallel and have it switch to high voltage series in my pocket, then hit it without noticing.
That is the reason it is on my maybe list. Have been toying with picking up the Noisy Cricket II for months, and of course still want the DB as well.

Love, love my DB’s! Looks like he’s coming out with a new mod. He has posted a few teaser pics, and I saved a video on FB to look at today

The only nannies I've ever enjoyed was that 'Nanny 911" show and it was only because I could just picture what was going to happen after the "nanny" left for good.... :)

Everyone knows you don't solve "life problems" via "reality' TV. Well, I guess not everyone knows that but I found the show quite compelling for a while.

I wouldn't TRUST the nanny to regulate my e-cigs either, she seemed rather strict. LOL..

There you go speaking Greek again... ‘splain please
I can't without more Greek.
A parallel splits the amp draw between the cells allowing lower resistances to be used safely. While a series combines the voltage of the cells thus doubling power output. If you had a low resistance coil usedd for parallel and switched it to series the power output would increase drastically.

And .2 is a tame build especially on a parallel.

In a dual mech, which (or both?) is safer, running in series or parallel? My brain isn’t even close to processing speed yet this morning
As far as mechanicals go parallel is safest. Single cell is in the middle. Series is the most dangerous.

In short, series is all I have to worry about since my builds are usually one side or the other of 1? Stop trying to make me think this early in the day o_O... you morning people with brains that kick in at daybreak baffle me:lol:

If you build at 1 ohm on a series...

Now a parallel...

Mechanical series mods are for people who are looking for a LOT of power. I have used mech mods for years but I will not mess with them. I have no need for that kind of power output They can also be dangerous If you are not experienced.

Single cell or dual parallel will give you the output you are expecting from the coil you are using. Dual parallel will give you more amp head room and longer battery life.

Yep saw that an a couple others. The thread is pretty good for info. I like VV for backups and simplicity. Generally only keep one in rotation tho.
That one looks good. Not a fan of the original one at all. Cheap hybrid series mech mod, no thanks.
